Happy Fourth everyone! (I think Ray Charles' version of "America the Beautiful" should be the national anthem.) Amen brother. I have a clip of Ray Charles singing this on the Dick Cavett show. I purchased a used dvd box set of Cavett's interviews with Ray Charles. I believe this is where Ray's version of the song first gained notoriety. Happy Birthday America! God bless our troops and home and abroad! |
