Eric Woolfson has died at age 64

Sadly, we lost Eric Woolfson, a co-founder, songwriter and vocalist of the Alan Parsons Project, on Tuesday. He had been ill with cancer.

His voice was definitely a key part of the APP's sound, especially his dreamy, ethereal lead vocal on "Time." He will be missed.

I read about this last night.

Very, very sad news. I listened to the Eye in The Sky album after reading the article, Eric had an amazing voice.
