1. Didn't I Blow Your Mind This Time - Delfonics 3.5
I absolutely loved this song at one time. I still like it, but overplay has dulled some of its appeal.

2. If This Is It - Huey Lewis & the News 3.75
I remember this well from summer '84. Next to Heart and Soul, probably my favorite track from Sports.

3. Fool to Cry - Rolling Stones 4.5
Have always loved this ballad. Black and Blue seems to be a much-maligned album, but to me it's worthwhile for this track alone.

4. Separate Lives - Phil Collins & Marilyn Martin 2.0
It's ok, but kinda bland and lifeless. I do like Marilyn's solo hit from around that same time, Night Moves, a lot more.

5. He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother - Hollies 4.0
Very nice offering from the soon-to-be Hall of Fame inductees.

6. Dreamin' - Johnny Burnette 3.0
Just heard this yesterday on the internet stream of KRTH's HD station that I mentioned in the radio thread discussion. Pleasant song you don't hear much anymore.

7. Goody Two Shoes - Adam Ant 3.5
"Don't drink, don't smoke, what do you do?" Catchy little riff!

8. We're All Alone - Rita Coolidge 4.0
I like Boz Scaggs' version of this as well.

9. Matchbox - Beatles 3.5
Not as good as their original material, but still, it's the Beatles!

10. Merry Christmas Darling - Carpenters 4.0
Karen Carpenter had such an amazing voice, and it really shines on this track.

A great track I really enjoy listening too.Great 70's soul.

2. If This Is It - Huey Lewis & the News 4.0
To say that Huey was everywhere at that time is an understatement. lol! A huge album at my high school. I really liked this one and played it all the time back in '84 along with the other great tunes off the "Sports" album. Still love it today. Saw the video for this numerous times as well.

3. Fool to Cry - Rolling Stones 4.0
Other songs I like from the album are "Crazy Mama" and "Hand Of Fate."

4. Separate Lives - Phil Collins & Marilyn Martin 3.0
Like Huey, Phil was everywhere at the time.I liked it quite a bit when it was current and had the song on a mix tape. However I haven't heard the song in years. Wow I had no idea Marilyn had a solo hit, I don't believe I ever heard it.

5. He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother - Hollies 4.3
They had so many terrific songs. A classic!

6. Dreamin' - Johnny Burnette 3.0
The only song of Johnny's I'm familiar with is "You're Sixteen."
I found an audio sample and had a listen. Nice song, it's good.

7. Goody Two Shoes - Adam Ant 3.5
It had a good beat, and this is another video I saw on a regular basis.

8. We're All Alone - Rita Coolidge 4.0
I also liked Boz Scaggs version. Rita had an excellent voice.

9. Matchbox - Beatles 5.0
Love it, love it, love it!

As I've said many times, I just don't care for these guys. This, however, is one of their better ones.

Mick sings the blues. I like it a lot. May be flirting with the top 500.

So-so I just don't like Phil that much. Now a Phil Collins/Huey Lewis duet would be REALLY scary to me! ;D

5. He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother - Hollies 4.7
Yeah - I know it's preachy, but I've always loved it. It's my favorite Hollies song, and #54 of them all.

6. Dreamin' - Johnny Burnette 3.5
Great Johnny Burnette classic from 1960. I do like You're Sixteen more though.

#196 on my list. Love it!

Bottom tier Beatles, but still The Beatles (as we all have said for some time now)

4.5 - I've always been a Huey Lewis fan, probably when my sister used to play this album on her "ghetto blaster" when I was a toddler. This song is definitely on the high end of my list.
