Seeing as how today would have been Elvis Presley's 75th birthday, I think it'd be a great idea to use him as a subject for the list topic. I think this Elvis hit from '72 is my all-time favourite, though arguably he did have a ton more hits to choose from. I think maybe it was because it was on the Lilo and Stitch movie. Burning Love is my pick. Yours?

Great pick Jug! Yes, there are so many excellent songs to choose from. My choice is this one from 1958, one of my all time favorites!

Wow, it's hard to picture Elvis as a 75-year-old, as he was so young when he passed. It would be interesting to see what direction his career would have taken had he lived. He struggled with personal demons, but was truly one of the greats. As I type this, Mark is watching an Elvis special, and the song featured just a few minutes ago was a nice version of "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me." Neat coincidence, considering we've had MLOSAATs on both Dusty and Elvis today. My favorite has always been "Burning Love" as well. Very energetic song from his later years. My parents had the LP: But a close second would be "Memories," from 1968. A beautiful song, one that always makes me feel wistful when I hear it. Here's the song, accompanied by some nice photos:

If Elvis were alive today, I think he would have gone the Marlon Brando path and turned into Jobba the Hutt.
Of course, I will go with a skinny Elvis song.

:"Memories" might be my favorite too, but this is certainly very close.
The video and audio don't go together.
