Okay, so this guy has had a career that has spanned several decades, and Neil Sedaka has composed a ton of songs for himself and for others.
I think there's a lot to choose from, but this one is one that gives me chills.

For John Lennon, and for all who need asylum...

I prefer his early songs. This is my favorite.

"Laughter in the Rain" is my favorite as well. I remember well when it was a hit on the charts - I was just 6 years old - and whenever I hear it today, I'm reminded of that time. Wonderful song, and one that I think will be considered a pop "standard" for generations to come.
Another one of his songs I really enjoy is "Rainy Jane." Unfortunately, I can't find a clip of it on YouTube or even Amazon.

Ignore the irrelevant video and just listen to the music!
A beautiful duet: Neil and his daughter Dara.

Another pick for "Laughter in The Rain."
I have it on the Ktel album SUPERSTARS that I received as a Christmas gift in '74. I loved it the first time I heard it.
I also remember as a kid, seeing Neil play with (and without) his daughter Dara on either The Mike Douglas Show or Merv Griffin.
Neil just performed here at one of our local casinos a couple of weeks back. I just saw a TV interview with him, this passed Wednesday on our local morning news that was done before the gig.
