Some time ago, Ed came up with the idea of having a Click-related page on Facebook. After some discussion and bouncing off of ideas, we are happy to announce that Clicksville is up and open for business! We're still in the process of getting started, but we already have some friends aboard and some interesting discussions going. We will discuss music as we do here on the Click (hey, we are proud music geeks! ), but will also cover other pop culture topics like movies, TV, fashion, etc. as well. As of now it's not intended as a replacement for the Click, but more of a sister site, another place to hang out with friends. If you haven't joined us yet, please do! The more, the merrier!

Ken - just sign up for a facebook account and after you have one, do a facebook search for Clicksville. When you get there, request to join. Ken - you can either sign up for facebook, run a search on Clicksville go to it and request admittance or just tell us when you have an account and the name you use on the account. One or more of us will send you a friend request. Once you accept that request we can invite you.

Got myself all signed up, as well--Facebook makes for a nice "non-thinking" site, while here I gotta make sure my stuff is right!

Well I'd never planned to sign up for Facebook. Can you browse sites there without registering?
And, what can you do on Facebook that you couldn't do right here at the Click?

Well I'd never planned to sign up for Facebook. Can you browse sites there without registering? And, what can you do on Facebook that you couldn't do right here at the Click? It depends on if the group is an open or closed one. Unfortunately, we had to make Clicksville a closed group because of the likelihood of DJDave and other potential troublemakers from RL/ML showing up. The Clicksville discussion board is set up a lot like this one, although with not as many bells and whistles (direct YouTube linking, text formatting, etc.) We didn't want to tamper with the Click's focus on music too much, but Clicksville is a little more general with the topics, kind of a hybrid Click/YL.
