Was John Lennon the 1972 version of Osama Bin Laden? - but then - Too bad they didn't deport him. He'd probably be alive today! 1957: Buddy Holly and the Crickets fail an audition to appear on CBS-TV's Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts. Not surprising. That wasn't exactly Arthur's kind of music.
