Hey guys, I STILL don't have a Mama's & Papa's collection!
There are SEVERAL single disc collections, including some cheap imports, that cover all the hits I know.
There is also at least 1 two disc collection.
However, there is another 2 disc collection that covers their ENTIRE output!
What I want to know is, is it worth it? More doesn't always mean better. It can sometime mean overkill. For instance, not many people would want The Seeds 4 disc box set. Having Pushin' Too Hard on a Nuggets collection is enough!
So, is there output good enough beyond the big hits to invest in the 2 disc set with their entire output?
THANKS GANG!!

I HIGHLY recommend the two disc set! I picked it up cheap a few years ago and it was worth it! It includes all the hits, some great album cuts, as well as solo tracks from all 4 (including Michelle!)

Thanks Pete! It IS their entire output, right? Yep, my only gripe, however, is they kinda skimped on the solo tracks. Only one from John (who did an AWESOME solo album), one each from Denny and Michelle, and (I think) 4 from Cass. The solo projects weren't really the focus of the collection, though. There is also only one track from their 1972 comeback album. But overall, their entire career is well represented!

Well cool, as long as stuff beyond their hits is good, I'll take your recommendation into consideration!

I remember seeing that two disc set , but it was after I bought the collection - 16 Of Their Greatest Hits . I 'm really happy with it - it has all the hits and LP faves I like
