Some examples (and this is all in good fun): American Pie--Fiona Apple Soul Man--James Brown Bobby's Girl--Whitney Houston Goodbye Yellow Brick Road--Toto Dude Looks Like a Lady--Boy George And, while the following are not musical artists, I couldn't resist: Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)--Monica Lewinski Dancing Queen--Richard Simmons Respect--Rodney Dangerfield Are you following me? I just thought this might be fun. Can anyone else think of anything?

The Robins became the Coasters! D@mn! You sure are thorough, Sat. This was a post from last MAY. --and you're right. Two of the Coasters (I think Carl Gardner and Bobby Nunn) came from the Robins. -- The Robins were the group who did Smokey Joes Cafe (written by Lieber and Stoller) -- and which was where the title of the Lieber and Stoller Broadway tribute came from.
