Happy Labor Day and Happy September, everybody.
Well, yesterday, Dawn set a new record for speed. She came up with the correct answer just 3 minutes and 20 seconds after I posted the question. I don't think that one will be easily broken.
Here's the current score:
Railyn 18 Sat 18 Dawn 16 Pete 12 dodger 10 Rali 10 DJDave 9 Everybody else 0
And today's artists:
Elton John Looking Glass Three Dog Night
Keeping in mind that the theme is NOT ALWAYS in the titles. -- And also keeping in mind that the three songs are all top 40s....
Name That Theme!!

How about songs mentioning Spain?
Elton John-Grow some funk of your own (Well I met a pretty Senorita) or A word in Spanish (can't recall the tune too well)
Looking Glass-Brandy (Made of finest silver from the North of Spain)
Three Dog Night-Never been to Spain (but I've been to Oklahoma ;D)

Read the next post.

You also have two of the three songs right. That's good for four points so far. Grow some funk, however, is about Mexico. So, there is still one point up for grabs.

A Word in Spanish by Elton. (Never heard it, just looked it up! ) D@mn, Sat. I gotta give it to you. It's not what I was thinking of, but it peaked at #19, so it works. I never heard the song either. The one I was thinking of (and that I'm REALLY surprised that neither you nor Dave got) is: Daniel "I can see the red tail lights heading for Spain" But you get the point, and take the lead. Current score: Sat 19 Railyn 18 Dawn 16 DJDave 13 Pete 12 dodger 10 Rali 10 Everybody else 0 Next Game tomorrow

Darn! I never get to these posts before someone's already answered. Oh well.
Is it wrong that "A Word In Spanish" is one of my favorite Elton John songs? It's just beautiful, and one of the few songs that he wrote the lyrics too as well as the music. It's from his dry, dormant, humorless early 90s era.
