We'll try this one more time.
What one song referenced all of the following songs (and others as well):
My Special Angel - Bobby Helms Be Bop Baby - Ricky Nelson Little Bitty Pretty One - Thurston Harris You Send Me - Sam Cooke Silhouettes -The Rays

This is a logical guess, and I'm not using outside sources on the computer, but I believe I've heard this on Dr. Demento. Knowing all these titles were popular in later 1957, I will say:
Santa and the satellite-Buchanan & Goodman

BTW, it's not one of those song clip types that Buchanan and Goodman were famous for. It's a "regular" song.

I guess this game isn't working. How about one more try. I'll give you the lyrics where all these songs come in:
"You're my special angel, my be-bop baby My little bitty pretty pet. You send me with your lotta lovin' lips of wine Just for maybe to be my silhouette."
Does this help?

Few people know this, but Dion tried a similar gimmick a year later in "Teenager in Love": "I cried a tear" (LaVern Baker) for "Nobody but you" (Dee Clark) I'd be a "Lonely one" (Duane Eddy) All hits earlier in 1959.

It's that "La Dee Dah" song right? I don't know who sings it though. It sure is, Kitty. By Billy and Lillie, as Dave said. What he didn't say is it was on Swan Records. ;D ;D I remember seeing them doing this song live on Bandstand back in the day.

Right, Dave. Another song going on my "All Top Ten, All Forgotten" compilation. Thanks for the Dion trivia. I had never heard that before, but once you see it, it's obvious.
