My dad gave me this one. What 3 artists in rock history can trace their ancestory back to notorious people in American history (think-Old West)? I can give more hints if needed. Well, it's hardly "rock" history, but I remember reading somewhere that Pat Boone was a descendant of Daniel Boone.

Well, it's hardly "rock" history, but I remember reading somewhere that Pat Boone was a descendant of Daniel Boone. Well, I just say "rock" because it is in the rock-n-roll era. Would "pop" be a better term to use here? Anyway, you are 1/3 right!

More hints please Ok, this may be too much-or not enough! LOL! One of the others was a small hit maker of the early 60's with 3 top ten hits. The other was part of a duo.
