The Beatles: I'm not sure Paperback writer or Please Mr.Postman(?)
Joe Cocker: The Letter
Brian Hyland: Sealed with a Kiss
*Things that are written/writing* (If Paperback Writer is correct); OR *Letters*( if please Mr Postman is correct-(If neither is correct: .How embarassing!)

No need to be embarrassed, Rali. You are nearly there. - But you are forgetting one rule. All songs must have hit the Billboard Top 40. The Beatles' Please Mr. Postman is incorrect; it is not a Top 40 song. You are definitely going to get some points, though. -- but try again.

(It's a legitimate answer, but not the right one) Remember, I said that Please Mr. Postman was not a top 40 song. - But Rali was on the right track with that line of thinking, and will get some points. So...........

OK. Here's the deal. Rali was correct with her theme, Letters
She guessed correctly with Joe Cocker's "The Letter" and Brian Highlands "Sealed With a Kiss" The Beatles "Please Mr. Postman" was incorrect as it was not a Tip 40 song. (The fact that she also made a guess of a theme and three songs based on "Writing" previously to that is incorroct, but does not preclude her answering again, which she did.)
So Rali gets 4 points.
Railyn then answered and used the Beatles "Paperback Writer" as the third song. (Note that Rali used that song with 'writing' as the theme, not with 'letters; as the theme.) I declared Railyn's answer as incorrect.
Woody then answered with PS I Love You as the third song. That is the correct song.
HOWEVER, I then went back and reviewed the lyrics to Paperback Writer, and they sure sound like the narrator is writing a letter "Dear Sir or Madam, will you read my book?..."
Therefore, I have decided to declare Paperback Writer a correct answer as well, and award a point to both Railyn and Woody.
so the current score:
DJ Dave 5 Pete70s 5 Rali 4 Railyn 1 55dodger 1 Everybody Else 0
Next game tomorrow.

Yay! I got the theme right! ;D But not the songs *Hits self in the head* I completely forgot about "P.S. I Love you"! But Dodger didn't forget about it AND he got the theme correct, so as much as it pains me to lose them, I really think he should have ALL the points here. But I'll take any one-or more(?)--if any-- you can spare.

Your guesses weren't wild, and two of the three songs you used with the Letter theme were correct. And besides it's cool to see five people already on the board after three games.
