I'm goin in a few directions, but don't have time to dig deep.
Possibility one: All sang "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" (I can't confirm that Marvin Gaye did, but the other two did).
Possibility two: Songs with sexual overtones
MG: Let's Get It On
GM: I Want Your Sex
Temps: ??
Possibility three: Songs about dad
MG: ??
GM: Father Figure
Temps: Papa Was A Rolling Stone
Too busy to dig further. Sorry. Let me know if I'm in the right direction and I'll try to go from there.
UPDATE: "What's Goin' On?" does mention Father in the lyrics....

I've scoured all of Marvin's top 40 songs (I'm a big Marvin fan) and I keep coming back to "What's Going On". Most of his songs are romantic in nature, and that's the one I keep coming back to. I've reviewed the lyrics to all the others and I just don't see it..... No, Railyn. It was I who didn't see it. --- The mod. at the bottom of your post, that is. What's Going On is correct.
