Happy Shortest Day of the Year, everybody ;D
Current score:
Pete70s 26 DJ Dave 13 55dodger 13 Sat 12 Rali 8 Railyn 6 DJ's mom 5 Lora 5 TripleJ 1 Everybody Else 0
Another six-pointer this time, but its so easy, that I think it'll be answered pretty quickly.
It's one of those three component ones. Each song represents part of the theme You need to arrange the artists and songs in order to come up with the theme, which is also the title of a song. You get your 6th point by telling me who sang that song.
The artists:
The Commmodores The Grass Roots Three Dog Night
Name That Theme!

I have never done this, but I think I've got this one:
Three Dog Night-"One" Grass Roots-"Two Divided by Love" Commodores-"Three Times a Lady"
...and the title is "1,2,3", by either Len Barry, Gloria Estefan or Nikki Cleary, depending on which song with that title you are using. (I'm guessing Len Barry.)

I didn't know you meant to eliminate parts of the titles to make the final title. I was gonna say One Easy Runaway! (But then I'd have to eliminate "The"!)

BTW, just out of curiosity, did you pick up the Len Barry clue? -- When I said "Another six-pointer this time, but. it's so easy , that I think it'll be answered pretty quickly." as in "it's so easy like taking candy from a baby" Anyway, congrats. You are on the board! Current score: Pete70s 26 DJ Dave 13 55dodger 13 Sat 12 Rali 8 Railyn 6 Laura 6 DJ's mom 5 Lora 5 TripleJ 1 Everybody Else 0 10 different Clicksters have scored (in the 2003 game, there were only 9.) Next game - a special game - starts tomorrow.

LMAO!!! Yes, I knew it was "The" Runaway, that's why I was sure to point out that I'd have to eliminate a word anyway.

I just figured that out of the "1,2,3" songs I know, that would be the one you would pick since you're more into the oldies era (now, take it easy, that does NOT mean you're old).

I WAS thinking of the Len Barry song, but you would have gotten the credit for any legitimate "1,2,3" song - even one you sing to Jonathan.

Well, since you're Jewish, I figured it wasn't "1,2,3, Jesus loves me." Although Jesus was Jewish too. BTW, the Nikki Cleary song I mentioned earlier is from a "Kids' Choice" CD I got off of a cereal box a few years ago. There are 4 of these CD's--mostly "boy band" or "teen pop" kind of stuff, and a lot of the songs are quite good including this one.

Yes he was -- or as Archie Bunker said in one of my favorite of all time TV quotes " Of course, Jesus was Jewish until his father said 'Hey! That's enough of THAT !' " One of my faves is when Mike & Lionel were antagonizing Archie, saying he might really be Jewish. Mike said, weren't your parents names Sarah & David? And Lionel says, "Two Jewish names!" To which Archie replies: "Two names out of the Bible, which ain't got nothin' to do with the Jews!"
