I think we'll have to get a rulling from Laura on that one....... Cum on Feel the Noize-Slade/Quiet Riot Name a song where 2 singers sing separate parts of the song.

I think we'll have to get a rulling from Laura on that one....... I say it counts. Very good! I'd forgotten about that one. I thought of a few others--including Louis Armstrong's version of "Mack the Knife", where he says TO HIMSELF, "Take it, Satch," and then plays a trumpet solo! "Some Velvet Morning"-Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazelwood Name a song by a male artist whose initials are MM. (There are lots of MM's, so I thought this would be a good question.)

I figured if I just said an "MM" of either gender, it would be waaaaay too easy for you, Adam. Name a song that was covered by someone from the opposite sex. "Runaway"-original: Del Shannon; remake: Bonnie Raitt Name a song with someone's name ending with the letter I in it. (the name should end in I, not necessarily the song title)

So I'll go look...*returning* Well, I mentioned "Mack the Knife" earlier, so that came to mind right away, and I see 8 versions listed here: Dick Hyman Trio, Richard Hayman & Jan August, Lawrence Welk, Louis Armstrong, Billy Vaughn, Les Paul, Bobby Darin, and Ella Fitzgerald. You wanted at least 4, so I've gone above and beyond the call of duty. Name a song by a band whose name begins and ends with A.

"Take me down"-Alabama
Great, I made a post on "Cupid", and Laura beat me. But I'll still pose my same question for the next one: Name a song by Ray Parker Jr. other than Ghostbusters, and not performed with Raydio.

(Oh, another 12 word title is "Sledgehammer")
For 11 letters: Celebration-Kool & the Gang
You'll love this one!
Name a top 40 hit where the only lyrics are the same 4 lines repeated ad nauseam. (I hope there's more than one...)

Name a top 40 hit where the only lyrics are the same 4 lines repeated ad nauseam. (I hope there's more than one...) (I was sort of hoping someone would say "Deteriorata" for the 11-letter one! Oh well! Actually the first one I came up with was "Tubthumping". It came on the radio the other day when I was thinking of 12-letter titles, and I was thinking, "Let's see. T-U-B..." Actually with the 12-letter titles, I came up with "Psychobabble" right off the bat, but I decided to keep the game going in my head and come up with some more. Anyway...) "Fly Robin Fly"-Silver Convention (actually 3 of the 4 lines are "fly robin fly" and 2 of those are sung on the same melody line--does it still count as 4 lines?) Another song that repeats the same 4 lines ad nauseum is "Seventeen" by Ladytron, but I don't think that one hit the charts. (It would have been sometime in the 2000's--about 2003?) Name a song by an artist (either gender) with the initials CC.

Oh, and BTW, Laura, the "real" title of several of your "Mack The Knife" entries is Mauritat (Theme form Three Penny Opera) - but it's the same song. - and a great answer. Anyway.... Patches - Clarence Carter Name a song in which the title is only one syllable, and the name of the artist is also only one syllable.
