Adam, the problem is that when I typed in the website, the Click site did not recognise the entire web address. You have to highlight the entire webaddress and copy it in to your browser. I've been on that site a million times. I've known about it for years. I'm guessin you were referring me there as a way to answer the quizzes. Unfortunately, it only helps a little bit. Most times (not this particular one) your question entails knowing specific lyrics and in that case allmusic is no help whatsoever. And that is why I'm no good at this game. No .. I was sending you to the site because it verified that 25 or 6 to 4 is indeed part of Ballet For a Girl in Buchannon. I recommend allmusic.com in general because it does list the peak position of charted songs (although, not with 100% accuracy, I've found.) Usually, no more than one of my songs involves lyrics. You can narrow it down on allmusic, and then go to alyrics site.

The final part of Ballet is Now More Than Ever. And I have NEVER seen chart position of songs on allmusic. Where is it?

For the Chicago issue, go to this website: www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dllp=amg&sql=33:tk9dsd25a3rgYou're going to have to copy and paste it in or you won't get the tk9dsd25a3rg part. - That's why you weren't getting to the right page when you tried earlier. It even has a review of the song and links to a track list. To find the song rankings, go to allmusic.com type in any artist you want. You may have to further identify the artist on the next page, but when the correct artist page comes up, look at the tabs at the top, and click on "Charts and Awards". You'll get a listing of albums together with their peak rank in the Billboard Top 200 albums. If you then click on the "Billboard Singles" tab, you'll get a list of charting singles. They use several different charts and list the song's position in all of them. The ones that correspond to our Whitburns are "Pop Singles" through (I think) sometime in the early 80s. From then on it's called the "Billboard Hot 100" -- Why it doesn't just use the Hot 100 name throughout, is beyond me. It's BEEN the Billboard Hot 100 since 1958.

Like I said, I have the box set, and 25 or 6 to 4, Fancy Colours, etc aren't part of it.

(I've seen other errors there, but not one like this) OK you are correct, but ... I'm not going to penalize Rob for a technicality. He was still correct on 25 or 6 to 4.

('Course you didn't BELIEVE me and had to check other sites.......Thought my word was good enough.....)

I knew you were joking, but I thought that others might question the validity of the game. And I HAD suggested to Rob that people who don't have Whitburns could look in allmusic.com I use that site a lot, but I find some errors, and some annoyances. Like they list Tommy James and the Shondells seperately from Tommy James solos. But they don't have the songs listed correctly. You have to look at both sites.

I don't think anyone would question the validity of the game from that. It's just that I look bad enough because I'm not good at the game, and then I look cheesy because I come up with answers based on what other people say. So I was just trying to validate MYSELF so people don't think I'm completely clueless about music.

I didn't think 25 or 6 to 4 was part of that song but I wanted to try to find a Top 40 song ... that one was listed and the "plain" versions didn't peak that high. The numbers thing was the only similarity I could find and after it was said that numbers was just a part I did a search on Google for "1 4 9 16" and the word "song" on Google. Before too long it dawned on me ... If everything is equal I'll be back to missing the next "Name That Theme" ... LOL! ;D

The fact that you got it says how good you are! It really was just me messing around, as a "retort" at you guys, nothing malicious.

Hopefully Baker can get his butt in gear and get his team to play good fundamental baseball. Go Cubs!! ;D

HAH ! HAH! HAH!Yeah, ...... right! I DO have the confidence our record at the end of the season will be better than the Nationals.....the team was pursuing Sammy Sosa for crissakes! How desperate can you be....... I wasn't happy they went after him, but their persuit of players is totally hampered by the fact that they do not have an owner (other than Major League Baseball itself) and will not get an owner until the plans for a new stadium are finalized. These plans are being delayed by fighting between Major League Baseball and the DC Council as to how much the stadium should cost, who will pay for it, etc. Both groups, of course, have different agendas which don't lead toward cooperation. These delays could cause Washington to lose the team altogether. MLB doesn't want that to happen (they see the DC area as a revenue generator and potential major market), but they don't want to pony up the money if the cost is overrun. (The DC Council is trying to cap the cost to Washington.) So meanwhile, team general management is forced to work with a puny budget and shop for "bargains." Even though I'm not a Sosa fan, the deal they offered him was something like $500,000 plus incentives (that's close to nothing in today's market) and they could cut him without paying him anything if he wasn't on the 25 man roster at the end of Spring Training. So it was basically a no-lose situation for the Nats during tough times. Nevertheless, I'm glad he decided to take his corked-bat and steroidal body and retire.
