You gave me two themes (very similar, but different - one is correct, the other is not), and as a result, one of your songs is incorrect. So you will get some points, but the game is still on.

Martha & the Vandellas - Dancin' In The Streets: ...don't forget the Motor CityPlaymates-Beep Beep Pat Boone-Speedy Gonzales Theme - Speed or Cars? No, Kitty. That is not right either. Speed and Cars are two totally different themes, where as Pete's Speed and Running are a little closer together. If you said the theme is "fast cars" I would say you were wrong.

I'm guessing that "Beep Beep" and "Speedy Gonzales" could be looney Tunes references, but I'm still trying to find a Martha & The Vandellas song with one...

I thought Pete or Kitty was going to get it. But it's been a full day, and we're down to four points.
A couple of clues. Two of the songs have been guessed correctly. And the correct theme has been mentioned. We need the third song and the affirmation of the correct theme.
The correct third song has its hint in the title. One of the songs correctly picked already actually does NOT have it's hint in the title.
Go get 'em!

Martha and the Vandellas - Quicksand The Playmates - Beep Beep Pat Boone - Speedy Gonzales Theme - Speed That's it, Woody. Pete, of course, had speed already, but coupled it with running which wasn't correct, and the song Quicksand doesn't even mention running. - but "Quick" connotes speed. So --- Pete will get a point apiece for Beep Beep (the line being "as fast as I can go" among others) and for Speedy Gonzales. He'll also get half credit (one point) for the theme. (Total 3 points) Woody will get a point for Quicksand and the other theme point. (Total 2 points) (Even though we were down to four points, the rules say that no one person could get more than four points.) Kitty, sorry. No points this time. Pete already had the two songs, and you took the theme in the wrong direction. ... and the score: Pete70s 42 55dodger 27 KittyKat 24 Dawn 22 Triple J 21 telestrings 12 Laura 3 Sat 2 Railyn 1 DaDooDaidy 0 Everybody Else DNP It's not over yet. Next round tomorrow!

That's quite alright. I got hung up on the car angle and couldn't see anything else. "Quicksand" is one of my favorite songs too...
