Just saw this on MSN and in the paper. I guess the three of them were performing Like a Virgin, and Madonna French kissed both of them. Ok, I'm a guy, and it wasn't a HORRIBLE site for me, but the old fashioned guy in me (which comes out a lot), just gets sickened by stuff like this. I almost find it more acceptable from Madonna (although it's pathetic someone her age feels the need to do this), but the other too always tried to pretend to be roll models. Even if they didn't try, they had to know they were. Why do I feel we will be hearing stories in 5 years of Britney and/or Christina living on the streets somewhere?

I don't know. I only watched for Duran Duran and then I turned it. I remember Madonna writhing on a wedding cake almost 20 years ago, and I was disgusted then. There's a line that some people just have to keep crossing. I'm not a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but that should not be on tv at a time and on a channel where the younger crowd may be watching - show some tact people! BTW, I find it ironic that MTV will show that, but banned (or refused to show until a late hour) a bunch of her videos. Go figure. This has been a public service announcement. Oh - and Eminem beating up a mentally challenged puppet was just great too. And shame on Crank Yankers for making fun of the challenged.

Yeah I saw that too ( the local news showed highlights) They showed Justin's reaction to Britney and Madonna's sloppy lip lock . He looked stunned. What was the deal with Eminem beating up that puppet ??

What was the deal with Eminem beating up that puppet ?? Although I long ago stopped watching the VMA's, I heard that last year he got into a fight (a real fight) with Triumph The Insult Comic Dog (the one who thinks everything is great for him to poop on). He got a lot of crap for that - picking a fight with a puppet. So this year, he went on and on about getting into anger management and liking puppets now, and they brought out Special Ed from Crank Yankers (which I think is a vile show, and I don't like the fact that they choose to make fun of the challenged in that way) and he kept purposely annoying Eminem until he beat the tar out of him - this year it was supposed to be a joke, but I was not laughing.

I like Madonna's music, but it's sad watching her try so hard to appeal to the "young crowd". It seems like nothing shocks me anymore...

Britney and Aguilera will end up in adult films and I am suprised that Madonna didn't get her dentures caught on Britney's lip. Anyway, I, too, am old fashioned and it truly upsets me that this is the kind of filth we are exposed to. When we were growing up, there was none of that nonsense on TV for kids to see. As a Mom, Madonna should realize that her kids are going to get older and see what kinds of things she's done. It's a sad commentary on our times.

I'm just now seeing this post...
My sister saw the liplock before I did, and she made it out to be worse than I thought it really was. But - Madonna needs to grow up. I mean, the woman's 43 years old. She really needs to act her age.
I just want to know what Lynne Spears (Britney's mom) had to say about all this...

Madonna truly is The Queen of Hypocrisy! (Why oh why can I NEVER spell that word! I just looked it up and found I needed to change the "second c" to an "s"--so I did.) And now--about 2 weeks later (?) she is promoting her children's book. How nice. However, not to worry: She is still protecting her daughter from sexual images--especially, I guess, those of her mom because "that wouldn't be appropriate"; and "no cursing" (Including the words "shut up" and "stupid" are allowed spoken in her home). I agree with her on this, but... In the meantime, she is more than happy to pollute everyone else's homes! (And yes, I know its each indvidual parents'/family's job. I'm speaking of the obvious hypocrisy here)
