First Stills-There is a collection of his Columbia stuff, 75-78 coming out. Only problem, this was after his Love the One You're With-Change Partners-Manassas peak. Could still be interesting though. And FINALLY some news about George. They are reissuing his stuff February 24th-only problem, again, it's the later stuff! They are reissuing the Dark Horse albums, 33 1/3-Live in Japan. All will have bonus tracks except Live. Now that is great news, and I will be getting at least some of those, but what about the other Apple stuff?? I am dying to get Living in the Material World, Dark Horse, etc on disc!! Come on, Olivia, release that stuff too!!!

Thanks for the news Adam. I'd be really interested in the Stills release, although like you, I'm disappointed it doesn't include the early 70s stuff. As for George, I pretty much like most of his stuff, so that's good news to. I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

I thought the Apple albums WERE available on CD! Unless you mean remastered with bonus tracks..
The Dark Horse albums (pre- "Cloud 9") were never released on CD.

Right, remastered, better packaging and bonus cuts, like All Things Must Pass. The plan was to do them in order, but like last year! I've been holding out instead of investing in the old copies! I'm happy that stuff is coming out on disc and I can upgrade Cloud 9 now, and I know there was a lot of B sides from that album. Hey, were you typing the same time as my response to dodger, or after I responded to him?

I made that mistake with the Chicago catalogue, bought all the old CD issues when ONE YEAR LATER they got remastered and repackaged. Was I P!SSED!!! They'll probably do a REALLY good job with the Apple albums if they ever release them. For the Dark Horse albums, I think his 1979 self-titled album is the one I'm most interested in. I had it on vinyl many years ago and I liked it, but now can only remember the songs that were on "Best Of Dark Horse". I have NO idea who posted first.......

That's ok, I just noticed you posted like within a minute of me. Yeah and they keep the old copies in the stores too! For my birthday last year, my wife got me Chicago VII, but it was the original copy. I had to return it for the remastered. (My wife doesn't pay attention to differences like that. As I said to Dodger, I don't mean to poo-poo the release of the Dark Horse stuff-I'm excited about those too! Part of the reason is, like you, I have the Best of Dark Horse, and other than Cloud 9, I don't know George's other stuff from that era. (Oh and This Song)

I'm really happy that I bought Live in Japan when it was first released - I also bought a copy for my brother at the time for a Xmas present . Is it just me or was it deleted really quickly ? I would be very interested in the 33 1/3 album since I've read a fair amount about it over the years and Cloud 9 for all those B -sides Anymore news on The Wilburys ?

I'm glad that George's Dark Horse albums are being reissued, especially with the bonus material. I've been wanting to upgrade Cloud Nine to CD for years. I have 33 1/3 on vinyl, and used to have Somewhere in England, but for some reason I traded it for something else years ago.

The releases are officially in stores now! I saw Cloud 9 (with 2 B sides) and I believe I saw George Harrison and Somewhere In England. All the CD's have a 12 page booklet! No Wilbury news that I know of.

No Wilbury news that I know of. So they are available separately ? I looked them up on CD Universe and all they listed was the box set . That's great
