This caught me in total shock.
Read it in USA Today News.com.
A brain aneurysm that went untreated.
One of the fine females voices of the 80's, best known for 1982 smash "Gloria".

A great voice has been taken, but her music lives on.

RIP Laura 1957-2004.

Sorry about that. The news of Laura's death surprised me too. Very sad, indeed.
