Rodney Dangerfield, who I always thought was hilarious with his self putdowns, died yesterday. Many of the comedians whose careers he launched, paid their respects, including Rosanne, Bob Saget and Louie Anderson. Rodney actually has a music connection and he recorded the hilarious Rappin' Rodney. My buddy has the original single. RIP Rodney. "Oh but it looks good on you."

Rodney was a great comedian, whose career didn't even get started until he was in his 40s.
RIP, Rodney.

He had been in the hospital for a while, so this didn't *completely shock* me.
A fine, original talent who seemed to be "America's favorite senior citizen" in the 80's.
Also liked his voiceover in recent Arby's ads.
You'll be missed, with *MUCH* respect. RIP Rodney.

Very funny guy. My fondest memories of him are from the movie Ladybugs. I've seen that multiple times (don't ask) and he is just hysterical in it!
RIP Rodney

I heard about it on the news so sad - It was weird because I had just watched an episode of King Of Queens a couple of days before and he had a cameo apperance.
When I was in High School a buddy of mine LOVED him.
RIP Rodney.
