I really enjoy reporting new CD releases, but it seems like when it's a compilation, it's incomplete!
First is Sammy Hagar, The Red Collection. I figured it was all early stuff with that title, but it's his whole career. (Surprised it came out so soon after the VH GH.) It's his "Red" days, his hit years, his VH era solo stuff, and post VH stuff. It says it includes Bad Motor Scooter, but I don't know if it's the original Montrose take.
Anyway, it's better than the Unboxed collection since it includes Your Love is Driving Me Crazy, which inexplicity was left off. HOWEVER......it left off Three Lock Box!! How could they do that??
The other one is the first single disc collection from the Talking Heads. I was excited about this because I like a few songs, but not enough for the box or even the 2 disc set.
But this one is missing Stay Up Late and Love For Sale! I know these weren't hit singles, but they had plenty of MTV play and figured they were band faves!
The ironic thing is, I found out about it on VH-1 Classic, and right after the announcement, they played a video.
Stay Up Late.

I hate incomplete greatest hits. Sometimes it turns you off from even buying the compilation just because it may be missing one song you really love. I'm still disappointed that Lee Ann Womack hits thing doesn't have Buckaroo.
A lot of artists have SO many compilations out, and others don't have enough. Bette really needs a newer one out with rarities and stuff like that. She has several songs from movies that have never been released on CD.

Could be checking out Hagar shortly, for I was disappointed myself Unboxed leaving out "Crazy".
Soon to copy the original 2-CD Heads "Vaseline" very shortly!

That's very odd that the Unboxed set did not include You're Love is Driving Me Crazy - one of his biggest hits ? ? It makes you wonder who they let compile some of these collections.
I have that Montrose album with Bad Motor Scooter - great stuff:)
