Just saw this on Yahoo. Keith Knudson, drummer for the Doobie Brothers, passed away Tuesday of pnuemonia. He was 56.
Keith joined the Doobies in 1974 and stayed with the group through their 1982 farewell tour. He rejoined the group in 1993. In between, he was one of the founding members of Southern Pacific.
RIP Keith, you'll be missed, but not forgotten.
Tuning into a tough year for drummers. First Spencer Dryden of Jefferson Airplane, then Jim Capaldi of Traffic, & now Keith. Lots of great percussion play in R&R Heaven.

Sad to hear of this also. Just last year, another Doobie passed on, saxman Cornelius Bumpus.
RIP Keith.

Very sad news - I've loved the Doobies' music ever since I was very young. RIP, Keith.
