Some sad news to report. Actress Sandra Dee, the original Gidget, and one time wife of Bobby Darin has passed away at 63. She reportedly succumbed to pneumonia and kidney disease.  |

I just found out about that a while ago myself. Thank you for posting it, Ed. I recently gained some interest in Sandra Dee after seeing Beyond The Sea. I received a Bobby Darin-Sandra Dee movie for Valentine's Day, so I will watch that soon in her memory.
She will be missed.

Wow, just shortly after the release of Beyond the Sea too. Always seems to be that way, right after a comeback or at least when they are back in the news.
