Just read in Goldmine that on February 28th, we lost Billy Thorpe. Thorpe is best known for his FM favorite, Children of the Sun.

He was an Australian native (I had thought Canadian) and was 60 when he succumbed to a heart attack.

I had been thinking Billy was originally from Canada as well. Children of the Sun is a classic, and one of Mark's all-time favorite songs. RIP, Billy.
