Darn! I KNEW it was going to be televised, and promptly forgot.  Van Halen: What a bummer! I was hoping there'd be a reunion. I wonder if they even mentioned Joey Whatsizzname. Was he included as a former Van Halen member? - And how 'bout Wolfgang? Does he count? (Probably not old enough to count. ;D ) Ronettes: Glad to see that Ronnie didn't acknowledge the murderer. Grandmaster: What Chuck Berry did for the electric guitar he did for the turntable?   That's like saying what Albert Einstein did for nuclear physics, my next door neighbor did for opening a garage door. |

I too am disappointed that there was no reunion for Van Halen. This would have been the perfect opportunity to put their differences behind them. Still, I wish Eddie all the best with his recovery and hope all turns out well for him.
Admittedly I'm not a rap fan, but that Jay-Z comment about the turntable seems a little much.

Yeah, it's too bad the Van Halen reunion fell apart - what a mess. However it's great to see that Eddie's in rehab.
