I am very sorry to report that Luciano Pavarotti has succumbed to pancreatic cancer.

This is particularly poignant for me because my mom was a huge fan of his, and lately I've been listening to a lot of Pavarotti's stuff to feel closer to my mom.

Very sad, but at least he's not in pain anymore.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
