I remember like it was yesterday when he replaced Dave Guard in the Kingston Trio.
And, Pete, "Gold" is one of my favorites as well.

I was sorry to learn of his death. Gold is a huge favorite of mine, and the songs JP mentioned are very enjoyable, too. I'm not familiar with all of his solo work, but a poster on another forum recommended several of his albums, especially Bombs Away Dream Babies, very highly.
