5980. Born to Be My Baby-Bon Jovi 1988/89 Um....no thanks. 5979. Superstition-Stevie Wonder 1972/73 It's not bad - it was a bit overplayed. 5978. Someday Man-Monkees 1969 I think you're right. I do like this song. Despite 5977. Rock-n-Roll Dreams Come Through-Meat Loaf 1994 Am I the only one who was disappointed with Back Into Hell? 5976. I Didn't Mean to Turn You On-Robert Palmer 1986 This song ROCKS! Ah, if we only had the same problems.... 5975. Tell Her About it-Billy Joel 1983 I liked this one and it had a great video. 5974. Jump (For My Love)-Pointer Sisters 1984 I like the song - the video was kind of lame. 5973. Suicide Blonde-INXS 1990 I like this song. Elegantly Wasted was better, tho. 5972. What's the New Mary Jane-Beatles 1968/96 Not familiar, and from the sounds of it, I don't want to. 5971. White Horse-Laid Back 1984 I don't like this song - too monotonous. 5970. Little Bitty Pretty One-Thurston Harris 1957 It's ok. I always think of the movie Matilda. 5969. The One You Love-Glenn Frey 1982 Not familiar. 5968. Doing it All For My Baby-Huey Lewis & the News 1987 Love this song! Huey RULES! 5967. Hold On Girl (Original)-Monkees 1967 Actually, I prefer this version of the two. I don't like the slower one - too dragged out. 5966. Kokomo-Beach Boys 1988 It was ok, but I kept thinking of that poor little kid who had HIV and he lived in Kokomo IN, and they treated him like crap there. My favorite dealer from work lives in Kokomo. 5965. Winedark Open Sea-Paul McCartney 1993 Not familiar. 5964. The One That You Love-Air Supply 1981 I love this song. They're so nice to just sit back and relax with. 5963. Authority Song-John Couger Mellencamp 1984 Its' ok - kind of lame but ok. 5962. You Got Me Rocking-Rolling Stones 1994 Eh. 5961. Land of Confusion-Genesis 1986/87 This video and song rock! The Krofft's helped, and that makes it OK in my book! Has one of my favorite lyrics ever "I won't be coming home tonight. My generation will put it right."

I'm caught up 5980 - I liked Jon and the boys buy this point. 5979 - LOVE it! remember seeing him perform it on Sesame Street as a kid. 5978 - One of Davy's better late 60's tracks . He ditched the "broadway show tune" thing. 5977 - I liked the first Bat out of Hell better. 5976 - Yeah it just didn't have what Addicted had. 5975 - Like it 5974 - Remember taping it off the radio one morning. 5973 - Didn't like it at first - but later warmed up to it. 5972 - Very goofy indeed! LOL 5971 - I think I may have heard it once. 5970 - LOL I still hear it. 5969 - Thought it was good . but his solo career just didn't have what Don's had for some reason. 5968 - Always enjoyed it. 5967 - Hey Adam what was the story on this? Was this going to be used in the show at first ? just curious I just had a listen to it I didn't realize there were two versions. 5966 - My niece LOVED this, I did to and bought the 45. 5965 - I like the melody 5964 - Yes the titles are very simiiar at first I didn't know which one you were referring to. Heard this many times. 5963 - Among my faves from - Uh huh 5962 - I really liked this one. 5961 - There was just something about the video I liked , I don't know

5972. What's the New Mary Jane-Beatles 1968/96 Urban legend is that Syd Barrett collaborated with John on this, since they were both in Abbey Road studio at the time. It even appeared on Pink Floyd bootlegs for many years. Not true. 5966. Kokomo-Beach Boys 1988 Mike Love's favorite song.. And my LEAST favorite Beach Boys song! No Brian involvement whatsoever. 5972. Wow, never heard that one before! 5966. His FAVORITE?? What a dork! Mike loves it so much because it's the ONLY song he ever went to #1 with without any help from his cousin. And he never lets Brian forget that! the jerk..

5980. Born to Be My Baby-Bon Jovi 1988/89 I've never really liked this one much.
5979. Superstition-Stevie Wonder 1972/73 I remember seeing Stevie perform this on Sesame Street back in 1973 (!). This has always been a favorite of mine.
5978. Someday Man-Monkees 1969 I can't place this one.
5977. Rock-n-Roll Dreams Come Through-Meat Loaf 1994 I'm familiar with Jim Steinman's version, but I don't think I've heard this one.
5976. I Didn't Mean to Turn You On-Robert Palmer 1986 This is probably my favorite of his mid-80s era hits.
5975. Tell Her About it-Billy Joel 1983 I was lukewarm to this when it came out, but I've grown to like it more and more in recent years.
5974. Jump (For My Love)-Pointer Sisters 1984 This brings back lots of memories of that summer. Very catchy.
5973. Suicide Blonde-INXS 1990 I like a lot of their songs, but this isn't one of them.
5972. What's the New Mary Jane-Beatles 1968/96 Not their best.
5971. White Horse-Laid Back 1984 The lyrics aren't the greatest, but it does have a catchy beat.
5970. Little Bitty Pretty One-Thurston Harris 1957 I'd kind of forgotten about this song - haven't heard it in a while. I like it.
5969. The One You Love-Glenn Frey 1982 My favorite of Glenn's solo singles.
5968. Doing it All For My Baby-Huey Lewis & the News 1987 Not Huey's best, but still pretty good.
5967. Hold On Girl (Original)-Monkees 1967 This was a good period for them. I'd be interested in hearing that slower version.
5966. Kokomo-Beach Boys 1988 This has never appealed to me all that much. Their work with Brian was much better.
5965. Winedark Open Sea-Paul McCartney 1993 I would definitely agree with you about the albums. This isn't one of his better efforts.
5964. The One That You Love-Air Supply 1981 I've always liked this. Brings back lots of memories.
5963. Authority Song-John Couger Mellencamp 1984 Classic Mellencamp. He was at his peak at this time.
5962. You Got Me Rocking-Rolling Stones 1994 I must have missed hearing this, but I haven't been that impressed with their post-Steel Wheels work in general.
5961. Land of Confusion-Genesis 1986/87 My favorite cut from Invisible Touch. They were never the same after that album, unfortunately.

Born to Be My Baby--I was never big into Bon Jovi, but I always liked this song.
Superstition--One of my faves by Stevie.
Someday Man--Another Monkees song I have no clue about.
Rock and Roll Dreams...--Not one of Meat's better efforts.
I Didn't Mean to Turn You On--Never liked this song. Too repetitive.
Tell Her About It--Got sick of this one real fast.
Jump--Pretty good. I like it.
Suicide Blonde--Never got too excited about this.
What's the New Mary Jane--No clue.
White Horse--For some reason, my husband loved this song. He even went out and bought the 12" single and played it all the time. LOL!
Little Bitty Pretty One--I'm familiar with this song, but I never knew who sang it. Guess ya learn something new every day.
The One You Love--Can't really remember this much.
Doing it All For My Baby--Not bad. I always liked Huey.
Hold on Girl--Another Monkees tune that apparantly passed me by.
Kokomo--Liked it the first 87,000 times I heard it. Now I've had enough of it.
Winederk Open Sea--HUH?
The One That You Love--Another whiny Air Supply song. I'll pass.
Authority Song--This is pretty good.
You Got Me Rocking--Barely remember this. Mick and Co. usually give me headaches, so I avoid them whenever possible.
Land of Confusion--Was pretty tired of Genesis by this time.

Heard this many times. 5967. Actually, the CD booklet gives no explanation as to why two versions were recorded, so I'm not sure! 5964. You didn't know which Air Supply song I was referring to?

White Horse--For some reason, my husband loved this song. He even went out and bought the 12" single and played it all the time. LOL! That fits in well with his Kiss and Jimmy Buffet records!
