Rush lost a little something after Moving Pictures. Not their best stuff.

5356 Come Go With Me-Dell-Vikings 1957

One of the few doo-wop songs I really know. This is a good one.

5355 Foxy Lady-Jimi Hendrix 1967

After 17 years of classic rock radio, I have retired this from my mind.

5354 New World Man-Rush 1982

See above comments. Ironically, this, not Tom Sawyer or Spirit of the Radio, was their only top 40 appearance.

5353 I Was Made For Lovin’ You-Kiss 1979

Wow, didn't realize this was coming up-I brought Smashes, Thrashes & Hits to work today, so I'll be hearing it in awhile! A great scene in Detroit Rock City has one of the characters saying, "Kiss will NEVER make a disco song!" LOL!

5352 Jump Shout Boogie-Barry Manilow 1976

Probably many dance routines have been done to this one. An average Barry song.


5351 Key West Intermezzo (I Saw You First)-John Mellencamp 1996 (previous ranking 4219)

Probably his last decent song. Give me his early stuff though.

Great song by this Elvis sound alike, which Elvis himself also did.

Cool song that explains the band's origins.

Tommy Roe was doing one word titles long before grunge came along. Good, if teenybopperish song.

The third most well known song on the album with the funny title. Decent but a tad annoying with that title.

One of two new songs on their 90s compilation. The other song was much better.

These girls are REALLY annoying. At first, the Dixies were called the Spice Girls of country, but these 3 sisters really are.

Here's another girl title Kitty. Decent instrumental, but I got tired of this and Ramblin' Man being the only songs that got classic rock play.

5341 Crossfire-Stevie Ray Vaughan 1989

One of his tunes that I can listen to more. Wow, a year before his untimely death.

5340 Clap For the Wolfman-Guess Who 1974

This one's more annoying than fun.

5339 Get Off My Cloud-Rolling Stones 1965

Right up there with Satisfaction and Jack Flash on the list of Stones songs I don't need to hear anymore.

5338 This Time/I Can’t Stop Loving You-Elvis 1969 (new)

Medley of the Troy Shondell and Ray Charles tunes from the Memphis sessions. There is a hilarious part where the King sings, "This Time we're really breaking up, I wish I wore my cup!" LMAO!!

5353 - I Was Made For Lovin' You - That's one of my favorite scenes from the movie - I remember some fans were a little taken back that they recoded this , it didn't bother me - everybody seemed to be jumping on the disco bandwagon. I bought the 45 at the time and I still have it and I even found the 12'' single about 2 years ago.
