Typed the whole damn thing, and I had to change my password on my work computer, so none of it took!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR 5317 Only in America-Brooks & Dunn 2001 (new addition) Not the Jay & the Americans song! Typical country patriotism song. 5316 I’ll Hold You in My Heart-Elvis 1969 (new addition) Another from the Memphis sessions. Great false intro which may have made this more of a demo/rehearsal version. 5315 You Need a Mess of Help to Stand Alone-Beach Boys 1972 Decent one, but not their best from this underrated period. 5314 One’s On the Way-Loretta Lynn 1971 (new addition) Neat little one about a harried mother. Look for a Martina cover on this list.... 5313 Rattled-Traveling Wilburys 1988 Cool retro 50s sound on this Jeff Lynne sung song. The Roy trademark purr is on this track. 5312 The Wild & the Young-Quiet Riot 1986 From their third album, when they were already fading into obscurity. 5311 The Look-Roxette 1989 They were REAL big for about 5 minutes there. Didn't hear this until years later. 5310 O Holy Night-Jo Dee Messina 2002 (new addition) Doesn't even TOUCH Martina's version. This is from a country Christmas compilation. (Say that 5 times fast) 5309 Is There Something I Should Know?-Duran Duran 1983 From an earlier album, but they waited to put it out here in America. Good song, one of their better ones, IMO. 5308 How Can I Fall-Breathe 1988 Wimpy, to be sure, but better than a lot of the crap that was out at the time. 5307 Heatwave-Martha & the Vandellas 1963 Typical 60s girl group sound. Gimmie Linda's cover. 5306 Wild Life-Bananarama 1984 Not as well remembered as Cruel Summer and their cover of Venus, but I believe this was the theme song of the Christopher Penn movie of the same name. Not too bad. 5305 I’ve Got to Have a Reason-Dave Clark Five 1967 This is one of my dad's fave singles by them, so I checked it out. Not bad. 5304 Long Time to Be Alone-New Colony Six 1971/72 Surprised a group like this was still recording in the early 70s. Heard it on the Rhino collection. Really nice song. 5303 I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do-ABBA 1976 Eh. Not on the first Gold collection, and I can see why. 5302 In The Midnight Hour-Wilson Pickett 1965 And here is the original version. I don't know, I may have to rank the Rascals ahead of this one! 5301 Watch Me-Lorrie Morgan 1992 (new addition) The only Lorrie song I know. She was big in country for awhile there, but you still didn't hear about her like you did Wynonna and Trisha. 5300 Show and Tell-Al Wilson 1973/74 Wow, drenched in the 70s! Haven't heard this in years, not one that would get much play today. 5299 Surfin’ Bird-Trashmen 1963/64 Typical novelty, quasi-instrumentals of the time. 5298 Ooh Baby Baby-Smokey Robinson & the Miracles 1965 Nice one, but very tired of it right now. Have at it!

5317 Only in America-Brooks & Dunn 2001 (new addition) I don't think I've heard this one.
5316 I’ll Hold You in My Heart-Elvis 1969 (new addition) I need to investigate the Memphis sessions set sometime.
5315 You Need a Mess of Help to Stand Alone-Beach Boys 1972 One of the better cuts from Carl & the Passions, but I agree it's not their best work.
5314 One’s On the Way-Loretta Lynn 1971 (new addition) A classic country tune, with great lyrics.
5313 Rattled-Traveling Wilburys 1988 I can't recall this one, but the other songs I've heard by them are great.
5312 The Wild & the Young-Quiet Riot 1986 Not familiar.
5311 The Look-Roxette 1989 I liked this back in the day, but not as much nowadays.
5310 O Holy Night-Jo Dee Messina 2002 (new addition) I may have heard this on the Music Choice Christmas channel last December, but it didn't leave much of an impression.
5309 Is There Something I Should Know?-Duran Duran 1983 Great song, one of my favorites from them.
5308 How Can I Fall-Breathe 1988 Nice late 80s ballad.
5307 Heatwave-Martha & the Vandellas 1963 I like this version, but prefer Linda's also.
5306 Wild Life-Bananarama 1984 I know I heard this back in the day, but it's not coming to me at all.
5305 I’ve Got to Have a Reason-Dave Clark Five 1967 Not familiar with this one.
5304 Long Time to Be Alone-New Colony Six 1971/72 I'd really like to get that collection sometime - I really like their sound.
5303 I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do-ABBA 1976 Not a bad song, but definitely one of my lesser faves of theirs.
5302 In The Midnight Hour-Wilson Pickett 1965 Catchy, but it's been so overplayed on the oldies stations here.
5301 Watch Me-Lorrie Morgan 1992 (new addition) I'm not too familiar with Lorrie.
5300 Show and Tell-Al Wilson 1973/74 Love, love, love this!! One of my favorite early 70s songs.
5299 Surfin’ Bird-Trashmen 1963/64 Not really a favorite, but okay to listen to occasionally.
5298 Ooh Baby Baby-Smokey Robinson & the Miracles 1965 Excellent song, with wonderful vocals from Smokey.

5317 Only in America-Brooks & Dunn 2001 Don't know it 5316 I’ll Hold You in My Heart-Elvis 1969 Not familiar 5315 You Need a Mess of Help to Stand Alone-Beach Boys 1972 Actually heard this for the first time only recently. I like it. 5314 One’s On the Way-Loretta Lynn 1971 This past Sunday I sat at a coffee shop with my boyfriend for a few hours reading and they played lots of Loretta and Dolly. I found myself singing along to this. 5313 Rattled-Traveling Wilburys 1988 Should've been released as a single 5312 The Wild & the Young-Quiet Riot 1986 Obscure is right 5311 The Look-Roxette 1989 Guilty! I loved this song in college. 5310 O Holy Night-Jo Dee Messina 2002 I don't think I've heard her version. One of my fave Xmas songs though 5309 Is There Something I Should Know?-Duran Duran 1983 Excellent track from them. I love the bridge - "...with broken glass for us to hold." 5308 How Can I Fall-Breathe 1988 Another guilty pleasure. I own all their albums. Yes! They had more than one. 5307 Heatwave-Martha & the Vandellas 1963 Overplayed. 5306 Wild Life-Bananarama 1984 Not as well remembered but one of my faves from them 5305 I’ve Got to Have a Reason-Dave Clark Five 1967 Don't recall this 5304 Long Time to Be Alone-New Colony Six 1971/72 I don't recognize this by the title 5303 I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do-ABBA 1976 This was played at my friend Tim's wedding. 5302 In The Midnight Hour-Wilson Pickett 1965 Pickett is better 5301 Watch Me-Lorrie Morgan 1992 I'm only vaguely familiar 5300 Show and Tell-Al Wilson 1973/74 Haven't heard this in years 5299 Surfin’ Bird-Trashmen 1963/64 Not my style 5298 Ooh Baby Baby-Smokey Robinson & the Miracles 1965 Overplayed but the harmonies are still amazing.

5317 - Only in America - Pretty good from what I can recall. 5316 - I'll Hold You In My Heart - I need to check this album out 5315 - You Need a Mess of Help To Stand Alone - Not familiar. 5314 - One's On The Way - I beleieve I know this wasn't it in the movie Coal Miner's Daughter? 5313 - Rattled - Love it! 5312 - The Wild and The Young - I missed this one. 5311 - The Look - This was alright, Top 40 was really beginning to decline rapidly for me by this time. 5310 - O' Holy Night - Not familiar with Jo Dee's version. 5309 - Is There Something I Should Know - Yeah this was alright. 5308 - How Can I Fall - Don't know it. 5307 - Heatwave - Have always enjoyed this - Linda's version is also very good. 5306 - Wild Life - A buddy of mine loved them at the time so I heard this quite a bit. 5305 - I've Got To Have a Reason - I have a couple of their later singles but don't recall hearing this. 5304 - Long Time To Be Alone - Would really like to hear this. 5303 - I Do , I Do, I Do , I Do, I Do - Had a 50's kind of feel to it - it was good but they had so much better. 5302 - In The Midnight Hour - I love both this and The Rascals remake. 5301 - Watch Me - What happened to her? she seemed to be (to me anyway) quite popular. This was quite good. 5300 - Show and Tell - Included this on a homemade 2 volume soul CD compilation I made awhile back. 5299 - Surfin' Bird - I can listen to it in small dozes but it can get just a touch irritating. 5298 - Ooh Baby Baby - A fine slice of Motown

5317 Only in America-Brooks & Dunn 2001 (new addition) Released not long before 9/11. Not bad actually, but gimme Jay.
5316 I’ll Hold You in My Heart-Elvis 1969 (new addition) Yet another one to check out...
5315 You Need a Mess of Help to Stand Alone-Beach Boys 1972 I don't think I'm familiar with it; it doesn't sound familiar from the Good Vibrations box set I burned.
5314 One’s On the Way-Loretta Lynn 1971 (new addition) Not bad.
5313 Rattled-Traveling Wilburys 1988 Yes! One of my faves off the album!
5312 The Wild & the Young-Quiet Riot 1986 Some 10th grade memories.
5311 The Look-Roxette 1989 Loved at first listen, and still hasn't let up. Absolutely love the Look Sharp album.
5310 O Holy Night-Jo Dee Messina 2002 (new addition) Neh.
5309 Is There Something I Should Know?-Duran Duran 1983 It's quite good.
5308 How Can I Fall-Breathe 1988 Disliked it at the time, not much grown on me, and I thought it kinda copied LRB's "Cool Change".
5307 Heatwave-Martha & the Vandellas 1963 Great Motown stuff!
5306 Wild Life-Bananarama 1984 LOVE it, VERY overlooked, and disappointed way back in '88 it failed to make their best of. If it's ever on an updated hits collection, then I'd buy it.
5305 I’ve Got to Have a Reason-Dave Clark Five 1967 Good one.
5304 Long Time to Be Alone-New Colony Six 1971/72 Should snap this up sometime.
5303 I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do-ABBA 1976 LOVE it. One of their first I knew, ever since it was current Spring '76. Billy Vaughn, anyone?
5302 In The Midnight Hour-Wilson Pickett 1965 Oldies radio has just killed this. Bigger hits in '67-'71 were MUCH better (and radio doesn't touch 'em).
5301 Watch Me-Lorrie Morgan 1992 (new addition) Know the title, prefer to remember these 2 words as James Brown's catchphrase in his "Super Bad".
5300 Show and Tell-Al Wilson 1973/74 Love it. Still played on lite stations.
5299 Surfin’ Bird-Trashmen 1963/64 At first, I didn't know what to make of it (on my sister's old "Goofy Greats" LP), but I've come to like it quite a bit. GREAT drumming and cymbal riffing!
5298 Ooh Baby Baby-Smokey Robinson & the Miracles 1965 One of the better Motown ballads, prefer this to Linda's cover, and even better than Smokey's comparable "Tracks of my tears".

Only in America--Don't know it.
I'll Hold You In My Heart--Don't know it.
You Need a Mess of Help to Stand Alone--Don't know it (Hey, I'm on a roll!)
One's on the Way--THIS one I know. Pure Loretta. Pretty good song.
Rattled--I might know it if I heard it, but can't place it right now.
The Wild and the Young--No clue about it.
The Look--Good one! I always liked Roxette.
O Holy Night--My favorite Christmas song. But I'm not familiar with this version.
Is There Something I Should Know--One of the few Duran2 songs I can tolerate.
How Can I Fall--Absolutely love this. Great lyrics!
Heatwave--I'll take Linda's cover, too.
Wild Life--Don't remember it.
I've Got to Have a Reason--Don't know it.
Long Time to Be Alone--Don't know this one either.
I Do, etc. Not a bad ABBA song, but not a favorite.
In the Midnight Hour--Like both versions.
Watch Me--I can only take Lorrie in small doses. She was never a favorite of mine. Having said that, this is a pretty good song. It's one of those "attitude" type songs that I enjoy. LOL!
Show and Tell--It's ok. I was never too excited about it though.
Surfin' Bird--Not a bad novelty song.
Ooh Baby Baby--I'll take Linda's version of this one.

Darn! I never got to this yesterday, and then did todays and missed this one again. D'oh!
5317-5314 Don't know them
5313 Rattled-Traveling Wilburys 1988 Not my fave by them, but not bad at all. Jeff sounds a whole lot like Jerry Lee on this one.
5312 The Wild & the Young-Quiet Riot 1986 Heard it once or twice. Eh
5311 The Look-Roxette 1989 Not that bad, really.- catchy.
5310 O Holy Night-Jo Dee Messina 2002 (new addition) Never heard this version
5309 Is There Something I Should Know?-Duran Duran 1983 OK...kinda.
5308 How Can I Fall-Breathe 1988 It's not bad, but it doesn't do that much for me.
5307 Heatwave-Martha & the Vandellas 1963 Probably my least favorite of the Motown groups, and not one of my faves by them either. In other words, I really don't like this one.
5306 Wild Life-Bananarama 1984 Don't know it
5305 I’ve Got to Have a Reason-Dave Clark Five 1967 OK, but not one of their best.
5304 Long Time to Be Alone-New Colony Six 1971/72 Don't know it.
5303 I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do-ABBA 1976 Not bad
5302 In The Midnight Hour-Wilson Pickett 1965 A classic, and yet one of Wilson's two best known singles that never made the Top 20 (the other is Mustang Sally)
5301 Watch Me-Lorrie Morgan 1992 (new addition) Don't know it.
5300 Show and Tell-Al Wilson 1973/74 OK, but nothing to email home about. (I'm not going to say the other thing, because I'd probably spell it wrong.
5299 Surfin’ Bird-Trashmen 1963/64 Brings up such great memories of parties at college.
5298 Ooh Baby Baby-Smokey Robinson & the Miracles 1965 Love it!! Top 250.

Don't know it.
5315 You Need a Mess of Help to Stand Alone - Beach Boys
Don't know it.
5314 One’s On the Way - Loretta Lynn
Love Loretta Lynn. This is a cute song.
5313 & 5312. Never heard either of these.
5311 The Look - Roxette
Good.
5310 O Holy Night - Jo Dee Messina
I'd like to give this a listen sometime.
5309 Is There Something I Should Know? - Duran Duran
My sister's a big fan, but she doesn't have any albums so I'm not familiar with this one.
5308 How Can I Fall - Breathe
Never heard of this group.
5307 Heatwave - Martha & the Vandellas
Love it.
5306 - 5302. Don't know these.

5315 You Need a Mess of Help to Stand Alone-Beach Boys 1972 I don't think I'm familiar with it; it doesn't sound familiar from the Good Vibrations box set I burned. Go check it again-it's where I first heard the song!
