Where the hell was everyone yesterday??
5197 The Logical Song-Supertramp 1979
One of those I liked a lot but classic rock radio killed.
5196 My Boyfriend’s Back -Angels 1963
Typical oldie, probably done in tons of talent shows in schools across the country. 5195 I Wanna Have Some Fun-Samantha Fox 1988/89
Oh she sings too?? I'll go into more detail about Sam on her higher song. 5194 Let the Little Girl Dance-Billy Bland 1960
From that pre-Invasion lost period of Rock-n-Roll. The songs is a little bit better than his last name. 5193 Kyrie-Mr. Mister 1985/86
This is the last appearance of their 3 biggies. Not bad, nothing I listen to now.
5192 Mine All Mine-Van Halen 1988
I liked this album better than 5150 overall. Only a moderately annoying song. 5191 We've Got Tonight-Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton 1983
Boy, for years I only knew this cover, not Seger's original. Now I haven't heard this one in years.
5190 Walk on the Wild Side-Lou Reed 1973 GOTTA be the full length "but she never lost her head" version. Radio had a problem with that line and "all the colored girls sing". Not anything I'd put on, but not bad once in awhile.
5189 Magic-Cars 1984
When this very first came out, I liked it a lot. But over time, I have come to prefer the two Shake it Up hits a lot more.
5188 Brooklyn (Owes the Charmer Over Me)-Steely Dan 1972 (new addition)
One of countless Steely songs I learned from the box. Average one.
5187 Madman Across the Water-Elton John 1972 Not among my very fave of his album tracks.
5186 Jimmy Mack-Martha & the Vandellas 1967 More 60s girl groups. Wow, is that year right??
5185 Don't Do it-Band 1972
A top 40 hit for them (their only one, or one of two?), and yet one that doesn't get classic rock play. I can kindof see why. Sorry Kitty! 5184 Matchbox-Beatles 1964
One of the early Beatles covers that didn't do a whole lot for me. 5183 Please Come to Boston-Dave Loggins 1974 Kenny's cousin (no joke). Not very exciting to me.
5182 Good Things-Bo Deans 1991
Wow, this one totally reminds me of a trip to Wisconsin Dells with some friends back then. I think they played this song like 30 times.
5181 Best of My Love-Emotions 1977
Average disco tune. Prefer the Eagles song of the same name.
5180 Girl is Mine-Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney 1982/83
The least objectionable of Paul's duets. "Paul, I told you, I'm a lover, not a fighter!" YEESH.....
5179 Piano Man-Billy Joel 1974
Song that always ends up high on classic rock lists. I was never big on it, and am real tired of it now. 5178 Blue Suede Shoes-Carl Perkins 1956 Really different from Elvis' cover version. Poor Carl. Listed on MANY rocker's list of influences, but not much commercial success.
Go for it.

5197 The Logical Song - Supertramp
Don't know it.
5196 My Boyfriend’s Back - Angels
Love it.
5195 I Wanna Have Some Fun - Samantha Fox
You mean she's not just a porn queen? LMAO.
5194 Let the Little Girl Dance - Billy Bland
Like the joke about his last name. I don't know this one.
5193 Kyrie - Mr. Mister
Probably my favorite of the few tracks I know by this group.
5192 Mine All Mine - Van Halen
Don't know it.
5191 We've Got Tonight - Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton
Don't know it, don't want to. Thank you very much.
5190 - 5187. Don't know these.
5186 Jimmy Mack - Martha & the Vandellas Wow, I haven't heard this song for years. I used to love it.
5185 - 5182. I'm not familiar with these.
5181 Best of My Love - Emotions
Decent song.
5180 Girl is Mine - Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney
Kind of cheesy, but not that bad.
5179 Piano Man - Billy Joel
Classic.
5178 Blue Suede Shoes - Carl Perkins He did have a lot of influence over musicians, but not much over the general public, obviously.

The Logical Song - Love it. I guess that's the tragedy of being a great song. Radio kills the pleasure everytime.
My Boyfriend's Back - Overplayed early 60s
I Wanna Have Some Fun - She should be thankful for her looks, she couldn't sing.
Let the Little Girl Dance - Average early 60s song
Kyrie - I'm sure I've heard this, just can't remember it.
Mine All Mine - don't know it
We've Got Tonight - Not a bad cover. Sheena was great
Walk On the Wild Side - Good song
Magic - Great song, great album
Brooklyn - Can't remember this one either, I'll have to check this one out.
Madman Across the Water - Great song from one of my favorite Elton John albums
Jimmy Mack - Average song. BTW - the year is correct.
Don't Do It - I wouldn't consider this song one of my favorites by the Band, but it's ok.
Matchbox - didn't like it
Please Come to Boston - Got old very quickly
Good Things - don't know it. Was the lead singer's first name Jethro?
Best of My Love - One of the better songs/groups that came from the disco era.
Girl is Mine - One of Paul's weaker duets
Piano Man - Play us a song, your the piano man. Love it
Blue Suede Shoes - Classic.

5197 The Logical Song-Supertramp 1979 Excellent, one of their best.
5196 My Boyfriend’s Back -Angels 1963 Not bad, but not really my cup of tea.
5195 I Wanna Have Some Fun-Samantha Fox 1988/89 I remember a neighbor of ours had a huge poster of her on his wall back then. I've never gotten into her music.
5194 Let the Little Girl Dance-Billy Bland 1960 I hardly ever hear this. Not a bad tune.
5193 Kyrie-Mr. Mister 1985/86 I used to like this a lot, and still do, but not as much as I used to.
5192 Mine All Mine-Van Halen 1988 I don't recall this one.
5191 We've Got Tonight-Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton 1983 I prefer Seger's original, but this was a pretty good cover.
5190 Walk on the Wild Side-Lou Reed 1973 I didn't know this until the mid-90s. It's okay to hear occasionally.
5189 Magic-Cars 1984 Good one!
5188 Brooklyn (Owes the Charmer Over Me)-Steely Dan 1972 (new addition) Not one of my favorites from them.
5187 Madman Across the Water-Elton John 1972 I've really grown to like this a lot recently. Great vocals.
5186 Jimmy Mack-Martha & the Vandellas 1967 I used to love this - have the 45 - but it's starting to wear thin.
5185 Don't Do it-Band 1972 I know this by title, but can't say I'm familiar with it.
5184 Matchbox-Beatles 1964 Okay, but their originals were so much better.
5183 Please Come to Boston-Dave Loggins 1974 Great mid-70s soft rock.
5182 Good Things-Bo Deans 1991 Not familiar.
5181 Best of My Love-Emotions 1977 Love this - brings back childhood memories.
5180 Girl is Mine-Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney 1982/83 This was overplayed back in the day, but I hardly ever hear it now. Nice duet.
5179 Piano Man-Billy Joel 1974 I like this, but not as much as some of his other hits.
5178 Blue Suede Shoes-Carl Perkins 1956 Early rock era classic.

5197 The Logical Song-Supertramp 1979 One of those I liked a lot but classic rock radio killed. This is one of my favorites, and I never got tired of it. But I have gotten tired of enough songs in my day that I can sympathize with you. 5194 Let the Little Girl Dance-Billy Bland 1960 From that pre-Invasion lost period of Rock-n-Roll. The songs is a little bit better than his last name. This is a cute song. I didn't know who sang it until now. Did he have any other hits? 5190 Walk on the Wild Side-Lou Reed 1973 GOTTA be the full length "but she never lost her head" version. Radio had a problem with that line and "all the colored girls sing". Not anything I'd put on, but not bad once in awhile. Yeah, but that "doo-doo-doo" part is catchy! 5181 Best of My Love-Emotions 1977 Average disco tune. Prefer the Eagles song of the same name. When this song came out, some dj was claiming it was the same song and saying, "Sure sounds different from the original version, doesn't it?" I'm not sure if he was putting us on or if he really didn't know better. I could tell they were different songs! And I love both.

Hey! Waja mean where the hell was everybody yesterday? I hadda go back and see if I had responded, and there I was #1 in line. Cheeesh! Very few I don't knows today, Adam. 5197 The Logical Song-Supertramp 1979 I used to hear this on the radio all the time, and then I'd look on the charts and see something called "The Logical Song" and it took me a coupla weeks to put the two together. Good song. 5196 My Boyfriend’s Back -Angels 1963 This song always annoyed me. It reminded me of ditzy high school girls who snapped their chewing gum. 5195 I Wanna Have Some Fun-Samantha Fox 1988/89 Not as good as Touch Me 5194 Let the Little Girl Dance-Billy Bland 1960 One of very few songs from that time frame that got by me at first. I first heard it on a Roulette Records compilation I picked up in about 1968 or so. Great song! 5193 Kyrie-Mr. Mister 1985/86 Very catchy melody. 5192 Mine All Mine-Van Halen 1988 Ok.. here's one I don't know. 5191 We've Got Tonight-Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton 1983 Not bad. Pleasant song. 5190 Walk on the Wild Side-Lou Reed 1973 Haven't heard this in a while, but I didn't know there was a censored version. Always heard that colored girls line, and wondered about it even back then. -- But the song DID make ya walk around going doo-doo -doo-doo doot-doo-doo 5189 Magic-Cars 1984 Eh 5188 Brooklyn (Owes the Charmer Over Me)-Steely Dan 1972 (new addition) Don't know it. 5187 Madman Across the Water-Elton John 1972 He's done much better. 5186 Jimmy Mack-Martha & the Vandellas 1967 Decent song by them. I like it better than most of theirs. 5185 Don't Do it-Band 1972 Up On Cripple Creek was a slightly bigger hit. I liked that one better than this one. 5184 Matchbox-Beatles 1964 OK... forgettable except its the Beatles. 5183 Please Come to Boston-Dave Loggins 1974 Love this song! Top 250! 5182 Good Things-Bo Deans 1991 Don't know it. (D'oh! stupid nineties song.) 5181 Best of My Love-Emotions 1977 I agree. Best part of this song is it's title. 5180 Girl is Mine-Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney 1982/83 I actually like his duet with Stevie Wonder better. This is OK. 5179 Piano Man-Billy Joel 1974 I've always liked this one a lot. Surprised it was '74, thought it was earlier. 5178 Blue Suede Shoes-Carl Perkins 1956 Yeah. Poor Carl. This was his only hit, I think. Definitely graduated at the bottom of SUN Records' "Class of '55 " (The others being Roy, Johnny C., Jerry Lee, and Elvis - although Elvis was in a class by himself.) I prefer Carl's version of this to Elvis' actually.

5197 - The Logical Song - My CR station really likes this as well - but I've never really got tired of hearing it. 5196 - My Boyfriend's Back - First heard this back in the mid 70's sometime - Love it. 5195 - I Wanna Have Some Fun -I think her video's recieved more attention for obvious reasons I don't remember the songs really getting that much radio play here but I could be wrong ,they probably were I just wasn't listening I guess. It was not a good time for music as we know. She was VERY nice to look at though I must say. 5194 - Let The Little Girl Dance - I don't think I know it. 5193 - Kyrie - Still a fave. 5192 - Mine All Mine - Not familiar - all I know are the hits. 5191 - We've Got Tonight - I remember hearing this quite a bit - can't rememember which version I knew first though it was probably this one. 5190- Walk On The Wild Side - I can't say that I listen to it a whole lot either even though I do have it on CD . Like H2 I never knew there was an censored version. My CR station plays the regular version all the time. 5189 - Magic - I loved this song sooo much - still do - just awesome. 5188 - Brooklyn (Owes The Charmer Over Me) - Just a great track - love it lots. 5187 - Madman Across The Water - I really got into this song a few years ago - one of the best. 5186 - Jimmy Mack Yup that year is correct:) I really like this alot picked up a nice copy on 45 in the early 80's. 5185 - Don't Do It - I thought it was alright - haven't listened to it in a while however. 5184 - Matchbox - I love Ringo's vocal. 5183 - Please Come To Boston - I don't mind it pleasant enough song. 5182 - Good Things - I'm not sure if I know it but I do have one of their earlier albums - on vinyl from '86 that's very good. 5181 - Best Of My Love - Good disco tune. 5180 - That Girl is Mine - Michael's spoken bit near the end of it is a bit much "cringe" 5179 - Piano Man - Don't hear it near as much as I used too. 5178 - Blue Suede Shoes - I love Carl's music so much - he was one of the best . I picked up an import LP reissue of his first album (Dance Album of . . .) last Summer and it is so good you just have to crank it up.

I don't come on at the same time every day, but I'm usually here every day... 5197 The Logical Song-Supertramp 1979 Always loved this. 5196 My Boyfriend’s Back -Angels 1963 Eternal big fave of mine. One of the best girl group tunes ever. 5195 I Wanna Have Some Fun-Samantha Fox 1988/89 Love this, and I like TWO songs of hers even more. 5194 Let the Little Girl Dance-Billy Bland 1960 LOVE it. One of 1960's best. 5193 Kyrie-Mr. Mister 1985/86 Still great, but goin' down a little. 5192 Mine All Mine-Van Halen 1988 Not bad. 5191 We've Got Tonight-Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton 1983 I had been hearing Seger's version a LOT for 4 years when this came around. Then this remake seemed to die QUICKLY. 5190 Walk on the Wild Side-Lou Reed 1973 Great tune any way I hear it. 5189 Magic-Cars 1984 Awesome stuff. 5188 Brooklyn (Owes the Charmer Over Me)-Steely Dan 1972 (new addition) Not a strong fave of mine, but they never had a bad tune. 5187 Madman Across the Water-Elton John 1972 Take or leave. 5186 Jimmy Mack-Martha & the Vandellas 1967 One time, I heard it somewhere this was recorded in late 1964. I can believe it. Left on the shelf for over 2 years. Dated compared to previous top 10 "I'm ready for love". 5185 Don't Do it-Band 1972 Not bad, but lots of stuff from their first 2 albums were better. 5184 Matchbox-Beatles 1964 I actually like this remake (Carl Perkins original). Better than several 1964 album cuts. 5183 Please Come to Boston-Dave Loggins 1974 Not bad. One of my lesser fave tunes from the huge "Nice Day" collection. 5182 Good Things-Bo Deans 1991 This rings a bell. 5181 Best of My Love-Emotions 1977 Love it to death. 5180 Girl is Mine-Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney 1982/83 One tune from Thriller I've not grown more fond of recently. 5179 Piano Man-Billy Joel 1974 Love it. Oddly, I don't recall this ever showing up on my local 95X classic rock countdowns from 1983-1988. 5178 Blue Suede Shoes-Carl Perkins 1956 What can you say? CLASSIC. Can't TOUCH it. Elvis doesn't come CLOSE.

5197 The Logical Song-Supertramp 1979 I still like this because I never hear it on radio. 5196 My Boyfriend’s Back -Angels 1963 Not my style 5195 I Wanna Have Some Fun-Samantha Fox 1988/89 Cheesy but catchy 5194 Let the Little Girl Dance-Billy Bland 1960 Don't recall this 5193 Kyrie-Mr. Mister 1985/86 I just saw Clay Aiken in concert and he did an incredible version of this song surprisingly. 5192 Mine All Mine-Van Halen 1988 Is this from that OU812 album? Don't remember the tune 5191 We've Got Tonight-Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton 1983 An ok duet. 5190 Walk on the Wild Side-Lou Reed 1973 Overplayed but a classic. Not the radio edit please. 5189 Magic-Cars 1984 Weak track from them 5188 Brooklyn (Owes the Charmer Over Me)-Steely Dan 1972 (new addition) A great early tune 5187 Madman Across the Water-Elton John 1972 Okay, but nothing special 5186 Jimmy Mack-Martha & the Vandellas 1967 A family joke in my family so therefore has sentimental value. 5185 Don't Do it-Band 1972 A brilliant song. One of many outstanding tracks from them. Levon's drumming is awesome on this. 5184 Matchbox-Beatles 1964 Don't know it 5183 Please Come to Boston-Dave Loggins 1974 They don't write story songs like this anymore. This one's just ok 5182 Good Things-Bo Deans 1991 Reminds me of college 5181 Best of My Love-Emotions 1977 Average? A classic IMO. The Eagles song is good too. 5180 Girl is Mine-Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney 1982/83 Hate it 5179 Piano Man-Billy Joel 1974 HATE it 5178 Blue Suede Shoes-Carl Perkins 1956 Like it better than Elvis's version. Sorry...

5193 Kyrie-Mr. Mister 1985/86 I just saw Clay Aiken in concert and he did an incredible version of this song surprisingly. That's one of those "American Idol" guys, right? I'm one of the few people on earth who has never watched that show, but I believe Clay Aiken is the one who is from either MO or IL. The CCM group East West--or is it East to West? Something like that--also has a version of "Kyrie". It's not bad, but Mr. Mister's version is better. One of my favorite '80s songs.

5197 The Logical Song-Supertramp 1979 Great song, great album!
5196 My Boyfriend’s Back -Angels 1963 I think H2's comment sums it up!
5195 I Wanna Have Some Fun-Samantha Fox 1988/89 Better to look at than listen to, IMO
5194 Let the Little Girl Dance-Billy Bland 1960 Doesn't do much for me
5193 Kyrie-Mr. Mister 1985/86 I still like to hear it now and then..
5192 Mine All Mine-Van Halen 1988 Didn't like OU812 at all.
5191 We've Got Tonight-Kenny Rogers & Sheena Easton 1983 Both versions sound the same to me... Dull!!
5190 Walk on the Wild Side-Lou Reed 1973 I have the CD with this, but I'm not as big a fan as my ex. She had his Box Set!
5189 Magic-Cars 1984 Kind of worn thin on me, but I still like it better than "You Might Think", which I'm sick of.
5187 Madman Across the Water-Elton John 1972 I like it, it's dark and moody.
5186 Jimmy Mack-Martha & the Vandellas 1967 One of my favorite girl group songs. MUST be the version with the drum intro!
5185 Don't Do it-Band 1972 I have it somewhere, but I've never been huge on them...
5184 Matchbox-Beatles 1964 Good song to guitar solo to..
5183 Please Come to Boston-Dave Loggins 1974 Boring tune...
5181 Best of My Love-Emotions 1977 I knew the Eagles tune first. Then my sister bought this 45 when it came out. I thought the wo-wo's were similar, then to top it off, BOTH versions use the line in the same context ("You get the best of my love") which made this song seem a little cheesy compared to the Eagles.
5180 Girl is Mine-Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney 1982/83 The one good song he did with MJ, "The Man" (from "Pipes Of Peace") was never a single, too bad... WHY is it that every time two superstars join together to do a duet, it usually has to be some "He's mine" or "She's mime" type of thing? It gets SO cheesy after awhile!
5179 Piano Man-Billy Joel 1974 SOOO sick of this!
5178 Blue Suede Shoes-Carl Perkins 1956 If he hadn't been in that car accident, there's no telling HOW big he could've been.
