GOTTA be the full length "but she never lost her head" version. Radio had a problem with that line and "all the colored girls sing". Not anything I'd put on, but not bad once in awhile.

When this very first came out, I liked it a lot. But over time, I have come to prefer the two Shake it Up hits a lot more.

When this song came out, some dj was claiming it was the same song and saying, "Sure sounds different from the original version, doesn't it?" I'm not sure if he was putting us on or if he really didn't know better. I could tell they were different songs! And I love both.

I used to hear this on the radio all the time, and then I'd look on the charts and see something called "The Logical Song" and it took me a coupla weeks to put the two together. Good song.

That's one of those "American Idol" guys, right? I'm one of the few people on earth who has never watched that show, but I believe Clay Aiken is the one who is from either MO or IL. The CCM group East West--or is it East to West? Something like that--also has a version of "Kyrie". It's not bad, but Mr. Mister's version is better. One of my favorite '80s songs.

I knew the Eagles tune first. Then my sister bought this 45 when it came out. I thought the wo-wo's were similar, then to top it off, BOTH versions use the line in the same context ("You get the best of my love") which made this song seem a little cheesy compared to the Eagles.
