I just thought I'd share with you some obscure songs that I really like. If you don't know them, see if you can find them. Tell me your thoughts about them. I know reading lists is tedious, I'll try to keep it short. I'll keep adding posts to this thread every so often. All The Things I Wasn't - The Grapes Of Wrath Baby Please Don't Go - Willie & The Poor Boys Backward Town - The Grapes Of Wrath Burning Flame - Vitamin Z God Is A DJ - Faithless Jungle Boy - John Eddie Live Is Life - Opus Melody - Boys Brigade Misguided Angel - Cowboy Junkies Monkey Man - The Specials No Promises - Icehouse One Gun - 54-40 Save Some Love - Keedy Send My Heart - The Adventures Stop - Sam Brown Tonight And The Rest Of My Life - Nina Gordon Wardrope - Hooverphonic You Drive Me Crazy - Shakin' Stevens

I'll comment on a couple from this list
Monkey Man - I don't specifically remember this song, although the Specials enjoyed huge UK chart success in 1981 with four top 40 hits. The songs "Too Much Too Young" and "Gangsters" are the two I remember.
You Drive Me Crazy - Got the album this song is from. It was the third UK chart hit from the album, peaking in May 1981. The first two hits were "Hot Dog" & "This Ole House".
The other songs I don't know.

I've heard some of the stuff by Willie & the Poor Boys (which was Bill Wyman and a bunch of other guys). I don't remember hearing them do "Baby Please Don't Go", but I loved what I heard from them!

Baby Please Don't Go - Willie & The Poor Boys-I think I remember this, maybe 1988.
Burning Flame - Vitamin Z-The title sounds familiar...
God Is A DJ - Faithless-This was a rather recent electronica tune; good stuff.
Jungle Boy - John Eddie--YES! Crank this one up! I love it!
Live Is Life - Opus--Yes, I remember it, and not liking it too much.
No Promises - Icehouse--A great one I still love!
Save Some Love - Keedy-Super 1991 pop tune. Too bad this lady didn't have more hits.
Tonight And The Rest Of My Life - Nina Gordon--This was a recnt tune. Not too bad.
You Drive Me Crazy - Shakin' Stevens--This man was so overlooked in the States. Like his music quite a bit.

I know a couple of these. The Icehouse song is the best one you listed.
Opus was OK, nothing spectacular.
Nina Gordon was from a couple of years ago, I remember they tried to make her a star as a solo artist. It didn't happen, but she looked GOOD in the video!
I've heard songs by the Cowboy Junkies I like, but I don't know this one.. "A Common Disaster" is the one I remember.
The Specials are legendary, of course, but I'll have to check my CD collection to see if I have this song.

This is TRULY obscure, as not only do I not know any songs, but I know few of the artists here! LOL!
I'm sure it's a cool collection though!

I'm only familiar with a few of these:
Burning Flame - Vitamin Z I remember this title and band but I can't recall how the tune goes. I'm going to try to find it on the internet.
God Is A DJ - Faithless I recognize the title and I'm sure I know this
Jungle Boy - John Eddie Never been a fan
Misguided Angel - Cowboy Junkies Good one but not their best IMO
Monkey Man - The Specials Love this one, haven't heard it in years. I'm going to have to dig my album up.
No Promises - Icehouse This track never did anything for me

I know a few mentioned here All The Things I Wasn't - I really like the Grapes Of Wrath very much - I have a copy of this album on CD. The video is very cool. Baby Please Don't Go - Great song , great album! picked a copy of it on vinyl a few years ago. I remember when it was first released . Excellent Misguided Angel - Pretty good - they had better tunes though I thought.
