I have a post on the TV board I'd like y'all to check out! 5097 Joyride-Roxette 1991 I don't think I knew this when it was first out. I may have. Not the best kind of music, but look at the year. 5096 Money, Money, Money-ABBA 1977 (previous ranking 2777) As you can see, ABBA has fallen out of favor with me in the past few years. Still fun stuff, but nothing I need to break out that often. 5095 Smiling Faces Sometimes Undisputed Truth 1971 Here is one that has started to get airplay on the Timeless rock station here. Of course, it still gets oldies play. Decent songs, not unlike the Temptations stuff at the time. 5094 Cat Scratch Fever-Ted Nugent 1977 The only Ted song I knew for years. He never got classic rock play here. Only Rock station play. Just tired of this one. 5093 Hail Hail-Pearl Jam 1998 The only song I remotely liked from their fourth album. The only one I remember getting radio play too. 5092 She Said Yeah-Paul McCartney 1999 One of the covers on his Run Devil Run disc. Can't remember who did the original though! Any of you seniors help out here? 5091 I Do -Edie Brickell & New Bohemians 1988 Short, mellow little ditty near the end of her first album. I loved this album a lot at the time. 5090 Love Conquers All-Yes 1991 This was the new track that they recorded for their first box set. I could be wrong, but I think Jon Anderson wasn't with them at the time. Vocals handled by Trevor Rabin. 5089 Feel Like Makin' Love-Roberta Flack 1974 Roberta doesn't do much for me. This is to Bad Company what the Emotions were to the Eagles. 5088 634-5789 (Soulsville, U.S.A.)-Wilson Pickett 1966 One of those songs that gets forgotten about for his other hits. Cool tune though. 5087 Rock and Roll part 2-Gary Glitter 1972 Heard this a couple 1000 times during the Bulls championship years. So tired of it. 5086 China Grove-Doobie Brothers 1973 I was just never that big on this song. That's not to say it's bad. I was just never a HUGE Doobie follower. 5085 People Are Strange-Doors 1967 First time I ever heard this was when I bought their Greatest Hits on tape back in like 6th grade. I thought I was making some great discovery that no one else knew of! LOL! Average song from them. 5084 Loves Me Like a Rock-Paul Simon 1973 Although I prefer him solo (the early years) to his partnership, I still find most of his stuff bland. 5083 Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me-Mel Carter 1965 Another soul song that seems to still get a fair amount of oldies play. Not too bad. 5082 Love to Love You Baby-Donna Summer 1975/76 One of the most famous moaners to become a big record. I didn't know this back then, heard it years later. 5081 Chevy Van-Sammy Johns 1975 I think I first heard this on the Hitchin' a Ride collection that I picked up about 15 years ago. Typical mid 70s one hit wonder. 5080 No Scrubs-TLC 2000 WHOA, this is out of place! TLC weren't horrible, considering the music they did, but they weren't better than many of the songs I have it ranked ahead of! 5079 Come to My Window-Melissa Etheridge 1994 When I worked at the Adult Contemporary station here, they played the CRAP out of this! None of her stuff measures up to her first album, IMO. 5078 Youth of the Nation-P.O.D. 2001 (new additon) These guys aren't too bad considering their type of music. I really like one tune, and it's ranked very high. Have at it!

Joyride - don't know it
Money, Money, Money - A good song just not an Abba favorite
Smiling Faces - Loved this song in '71, haven't heard it in years. Great one
Cat Scratch Fever - Good song, just heard it too much. Heard a version by Hayseed Dixie that was really funny.
Hail Hail - don't know it
She Said Yeah - don't know it
I Do - don't know it
Love Conquers All - don't know it
Feel Like Making Love - Never could figure how this one made #1.
634-5789 - Great song, another one I haven't heard in years.
Rock & Roll Part 2 - Available at stadiums & arenas around the world. Tired of it.
China Grove - Classic Doobies
People Are Strange - With all their great songs, this one gets lost. Good one though
Loves Me Like a Rock - Kind of an ordinary song
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me - Never liked it
Love to Love You Baby - Never liked it
Chevy Van - Another kind of ordinary mid 70s song
No Scrubbs - don't know it
Come to My Window - don't know it
Youth of the Nation - I heard the music, and it's not bad. Don't know this song. My daughter has seen them in concert. She likes them.

5097 Joyride-Roxette 1991 I don't think I know this.
5096 Money, Money, Money-ABBA 1977 (previous ranking 2777) Not one of their best tunes, but fun to listen to.
5095 Smiling Faces Sometimes Undisputed Truth 1971 Outstanding, one of my favorites from that year.
5094 Cat Scratch Fever-Ted Nugent 1977 A bit overplayed, but that riff is classic!
5093 Hail Hail-Pearl Jam 1998 I've probably heard this, but can't place it.
5092 She Said Yeah-Paul McCartney 1999 Not familiar with this, but should check out that album.
5091 I Do -Edie Brickell & New Bohemians 1988 I don't know this one.
5090 Love Conquers All-Yes 1991 Not familiar with this.
5089 Feel Like Makin' Love-Roberta Flack 1974 Superb tune from Roberta, my favorite of her hits. I've loved this since first hearing it back in '74.
5088 634-5789 (Soulsville, U.S.A.)-Wilson Pickett 1966 I don't hear this nearly as much as his other hits.
5087 Rock and Roll part 2-Gary Glitter 1972 I like it, but it has definitely been overused for sports events.
5086 China Grove-Doobie Brothers 1973 A classic - I've always liked this.
5085 People Are Strange-Doors 1967 This has grown on me a lot in recent years.
5084 Loves Me Like a Rock-Paul Simon 1973 Not Paul's best solo effort.
5083 Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me-Mel Carter 1965 Nice one.
5082 Love to Love You Baby-Donna Summer 1975/76 This is a rare instance where I prefer the edited version - the moans get annoying after a while in the longer versions.
5081 Chevy Van-Sammy Johns 1975 Remember hearing this lots back then - great tune.
5080 No Scrubs-TLC 2000 Don't know it.
5079 Come to My Window-Melissa Etheridge 1994 This did get a lot of play at one point.
5078 Youth of the Nation-P.O.D. 2001 (new additon) I think I may have heard this, but can't recall how it goes.

5097 - 5095. Doesn't sound like I'm missing much by not knowing these tunes.
5094 Cat Scratch Fever - Ted Nugent
Although I do like some rock, this is one song that just isn't as great the umpteenth time you hear it.
5093 - 5092. Don't know these.
5091 I Do - Edie Brickell & New Bohemians
Hey, isn't she married to Paul Simon? I only know What I Am.
5090 Love Conquers All - Yes
Not familiar with this.
5089 Feel Like Makin' Love - Roberta Flack She's not bad, but I can't imagine her doing this song at all.
5088 634-5789 (Soulsville, U.S.A.) - Wilson Pickett
I don't know this one.
5087 Rock and Roll part 2 - Gary Glitter
Gary Glitter? Sounds like a pansy name to me.
5086 - 5083. Don't know these.
5082 Love to Love You Baby - Donna Summer
I still don't see what the big deal is with this song.
5081 Chevy Van - Sammy Johns
Don't know it.
5080 No Scrubs - TLC
One of my top favorites of theirs, although I don't feel the need to hear it much anymore. I HAVE to have the version with the rap though. The radio edit sucks. Man, I still have every single word of that rap memorized too.
5079 Come to My Window - Melissa Etheridge I don't know a whole lot of her stuff, but I've always thought a lot of her as a musician. I absolutely love this song.
5078 Youth of the Nation - P.O.D.
I don't care for them at all, and this song is just bad. I hate it.

5097 - Joyride - Iremember hearing this alot then , If I had to pick a fave of their's this would be the one . It was not a good time period. 5096 - Money Money Money - Not one I listen to alot but I do remember it very well . My sister in law really digs them and she got my niece listening to them. 5095 - Smiling Faces Sometimes - This is a great track - I also like Rare Earth's cover. 5094 - Cat Scratch Fever - This was also the only Nuge tune I was familiar with for the longest time. Still like it. 5093 - Hail Hail - I can't remember how this goes. 5092 - She Said Yeah - Larry Williams did the original Another fab cover from that great album. 5091 - I Do - Don't know it. 5090 - Love Conquers All - Or this one. 5089 - Feel like Making Love - I've never heard this remake - sounds like I'm not missing very much LOL 5088 - 634 - 5789 - Cool tune:) 5087 - Rock And Roll (Part 2) - Still love it 5086 - China Grove - LOVE that guitar riff - excellent. 5085 - People Are Strange - LOL - One of the first Doors tunes I heard - we had this 45 in the house along with Light My Fire and The Strange Days album. Always liked it. 5084 - Love Me Like a Rock - My middle brother loved this at the time and bought the 45. Great memories of hearing it. 5083 - Hold Me - Thrill Me , Kiss Me - Pretty good. 5082 - Love To Love You Baby - Remember hearing this at the Time . Remember the daughters next door being kind of stunned by the song finding it naughty - LOL - they were teens at the time. 5081 - Chevy Van - Love it to this day 5080 - No Scrubs - eh it was really overplayed. 5079 - Come To My Window - Never got into a lot of her stuff but this wasn't bad. 5078 - Youth of The Nation - The band name is familiar , other than that - no idea.

5097 Joyride-Roxette 1991 This was their one hit that I hated. 5096 Money, Money, Money-ABBA 1977 One of their weaker tracks IMO. 5095 Smiling Faces Sometimes Undisputed Truth 1971 Just okay 5094 Cat Scratch Fever-Ted Nugent 1977 His signature tune but nothing I would listen to now. 5093 Hail Hail-Pearl Jam 1998 I ignored this whole album 5092 She Said Yeah-Paul McCartney 1999 Don't know it 5091 I Do -Edie Brickell & New Bohemians 1988 Gawd, I loved this album when I was a senior in highschool. 5090 Love Conquers All-Yes 1991 Don't know it 5089 Feel Like Makin' Love-Roberta Flack 1974 Not her best but much better than "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" which I hate. 5088 634-5789 (Soulsville, U.S.A.)-Wilson Pickett 1966 Pretty great. 5087 Rock and Roll part 2-Gary Glitter 1972 OVERPLAYED at every sporting event EVER. But a good song if only heard once. 5086 China Grove-Doobie Brothers 1973 I've never liked this classic track from them. I'm not a huge early Doobie fan as you know. 5085 People Are Strange-Doors 1967 The cover by Echo & The Bunnymen is a 1000x better. 5084 Loves Me Like a Rock-Paul Simon 1973 Love this tune. Great car sing-a-long 5083 Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me-Mel Carter 1965 Haven't heard this in years 5082 Love to Love You Baby-Donna Summer 1975/76 It still makes me a little uncomfortable to her the "orgasm" sounds. I've never liked this really. 5081 Chevy Van-Sammy Johns 1975 blah 5080 No Scrubs-TLC 2000 As long as you're aware of the weird placement... I can think of about 5 other TLC songs that I'd rather see on this list. 5079 Come to My Window-Melissa Etheridge 1994 I think I liked this the first time I heard it - I don't now. 5078 Youth of the Nation-P.O.D. 2001 (new additon) Pleasantly surprised to see them on your list. I like these guys as people more than musicians but this song is pretty decent.

5089 - Feel like Making Love - I've never heard this remake - sounds like I'm not missing very much LOL I think people are getting the wrong idea with what I said! This ISN'T a cover. I just meant it's similar to the Eagles/Emotions thing-two songs, same title, right around the same time. This song by Roberta goes, "That's the time....I Feel Like Makin' Lovvvvvve to youuuuuu....."

Joyride--Always liked this one. Fun song to sing along to. Money Money Money--Another fun one to sing. Pretty good tune. Smiling Faces Sometimes--Lotta memories of this. Played it to death back then. Cat Scratch Fever--Like you, this is the only song of his I knew for a long time. I'm not a big Nuge fan, but this song's ok. Hail Hail--Don't remember it. She Said Yeah--Don't know it. I Do--Not familiar. Love Conquers All--Don't know it. Hey! I'm on a roll! Feel Like Makin' Love--As I was reading everyone's responses, I kept thinking "this isn't the same as the Bad Company song, is it?" Thanks for clearing that up, Adam. I was so confused! LOL! Anyway, I like this song. Haven't heard it for eons though. Soulsville USA--Never heard of it. Rock and Roll Pt. 2--I used to love this song before it was used at every sporting event in America. Now I'm just sick of it. China Grove--Not bad, but there are tons of Doobie songs I like better. People Are Strange--One of only a few Doors songs that I enjoy. Loves Me Like a Rock--Catchy, fun song. I liked it a lot when I was a kid. Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me--Ick. Never liked it. Love to Love You Baby--My least favorite Donna song. Chevy Van--Eh. I can take it or leave it. No Scrubs--Gawd! Possibly the stupidest song ever written. Just my humble opinion, of course. Come to My Window--Yay! Great song. Whenever I hear it now, I always think of being at her concert, and some fans sitting down in front actually brought a window in with them and held it up when she started singing the song. I think it was just a cardboard "replica" of a window, but it had curtains and everything. LOL! Needless to say, security grabbed it up and took it away. Youth of the Nation--Don't know the title, but I might know the song if I heard it.

5097 Joyride-Roxette 1991 Don't know it 5096 Money, Money, Money-ABBA 1977 (previous ranking 2777) I've heard it, I think. Wasn't that impressed. 5095 Smiling Faces Sometimes Undisputed Truth 1971 Good song. - Then the OJay's essentially copied it with Backstabbers. 5094 Cat Scratch Fever-Ted Nugent 1977 Always liked it. 5093 Hail Hail-Pearl Jam 1998 Don't know it 5092 She Said Yeah-Paul McCartney 1999 Not familiar with it or with an earlier version. 5091 I Do -Edie Brickell & New Bohemians 1988 Don't know it. 5090 Love Conquers All-Yes 1991 Don't know it 5089 Feel Like Makin' Love-Roberta Flack 1974 Hadda think for a minute about your analogy, Adam. It's been a while since I took my S.A.T.s - But you are right! I generally like Roberta's songs, but this one was weak. 5088 634-5789 (Soulsville, U.S.A.)-Wilson Pickett 1966 For a minute I thought you were just stringing numbers together. (5088 634 5789). I thought maybe you hit the lottery. Good song. I like almost everything he does. 5087 Rock and Roll part 2-Gary Glitter 1972 Yeah, while the Bulls were winning championships, I was living here in Washington, so I didn't hear this song much. It goes along with Na Na Hey Hey by Steam as songs that have been taken over by sports audiences as their own. I bet most people sitting in sports stadiums would give you a blank look if you mentioned either Gary Glitter or Steam. 5086 China Grove-Doobie Brothers 1973 Not bad, but far from their best. 5085 People Are Strange-Doors 1967 One of my faves by them. The minor chords and undertone of eerieness makes this song very effective. 5084 Loves Me Like a Rock-Paul Simon 1973 I prefer the S&G days, and find most of Paul's solo stuff mediocre. This one is better than most, but still not great. 5083 Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me-Mel Carter 1965 Not bad, but it gets overplayed somewhat as an oldie. 5082 Love to Love You Baby-Donna Summer 1975/76 One of her better ones. 5081 Chevy Van-Sammy Johns 1975 Pleasant song, pleasant memories. (No- I didn't own a Chevy van.) 5080- 5078 Don't know them

This song by Roberta goes, "That's the time....I Feel Like Makin' Lovvvvvve to youuuuuu....." I went back and read what you had written and now I understand ("smacking forehead") I have heard the song a couple of times.

5087 Rock and Roll part 2-Gary Glitter 1972 It gets old fast.

5083 Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me-Mel Carter 1965 Never heard this one.
5082 Love to Love You Baby-Donna Summer 1975/76 Not too big on this.

5087 Rock and Roll part 2-Gary Glitter 1972 I think my love for this peaked a few years ago. Goin' a lil' downhill now.
5086 China Grove-Doobie Brothers 1973 Just about their best EVER!'
5085 People Are Strange-Doors 1967 Great tune.
5084 Loves Me Like a Rock-Paul Simon 1973 Not one of his better ones.
5083 Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me-Mel Carter 1965 Not huge on this tune.
5082 Love to Love You Baby-Donna Summer 1975/76 Love it.
5081 Chevy Van-Sammy Johns 1975 Pretty good.
5080 No Scrubs-TLC 2000 One of 1999's best!
5079 Come to My Window-Melissa Etheridge 1994 Again, not a fan.
5078 Youth of the Nation-P.O.D. 2001 (new additon) One of the scores of newer acts I don't rave over. "Boom" just may rank in my lowest thousand.

5091 I Do - Edie Brickell & New Bohemians Hey, isn't she married to Paul Simon? I only know What I Am. 5089 Feel Like Makin' Love - Roberta Flack She's not bad, but I can't imagine her doing this song at all. 5087 Rock and Roll part 2 - Gary Glitter Gary Glitter? Sounds like a pansy name to me. 5091. Yes! I should have pointed that out since they were both on this list! 5089. It's NOT the same as the Bad Company song. 5087. It was a stage name-he was the king of glam rock!
