Better late than never!! LOL!
A few more tracks on this one because I wanted to make sure I got on all the songs I wanted. Once again, I tried to put in a variety of songs & artists.
There is one more disc after this which I'll post tomorrow.
Don't forget the other discs!
1. Santa Claus is Back in Town-Elvis
2. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas-America
3. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer-Burl Ives
4. O Come All Ye Faithful-Sara Evans
5. Bells of Christmas-Beach Boys
6. Happy X-mas (War is Over)-John Lennon
7. Snow Miser from Year Without a Santa Claus
8. Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! (Live)-Martina McBride
9. Sleigh Ride-Ronettes
10. Holly Leaves and Christmas Trees-Elvis
11. O Holy Night (Acappella intro version)-Martina McBride
12. Christmas is Coming-Muppets
13. Mele Kalikimaka-Beach Boys
14. It Won't Be Christmas Without You-Brooks & Dunn
15. The Little Drummer Boy-Bob Seger
16. The First Toymaker to the King from Santa Claus is Comin' to Town
17. Winter Wonderland-Elvis
18. Jingle Bells-Smokey Robinson & the Miracles
19. Carol of the Bells-Deana Carter
20. We Are Santa's Elves from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
21. Santa Claus is Coming to Town-Crystals
22. Christmas Time is Here Again-Lila McCann
23. Here is Christmas-Heart
24. Jingle, Jingle, Jingle from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
25. I'll Be Home For Christmas-Martina McBride
26. I'll Be Home on Christmas Day-Elvis
27. Silent Night-Julie Roberts
As you can also see, I spread out the songs so these weren't "bottom of the barrel". Santa Claus is Back in Town, Happy X-mas, Elvis' Winter Wonderland and Smokey's Jingle Bells are among my faves.
The "Acappella intro" version of O Holy Night by Martina is just that. She sings the first stanza acappella, then goes into the song with music. It was recorded 3 years before the familiar version, but it's actually not quite as good as that wonderful version.
Lila McCann's song is not a cover of the Beach Boys or Beatles songs.
Heart's song was on an album released under the name "The Lovemongers". They released at least one regular album under this title too. But when they re-released the Christmas album they retitled it, "Heart Presents a Lovemongers Christmas". So if they're willing to call it Heart, then so am I!
Whattya think?
