I saw this collection at that local store. VERY complete (yes, including Days Gone Down) and all full length versions! It's either on import or just a minor label. My dad picked it up for the holidays back when I got the Frampton one-what was that, 01?

Rainbow-Very Best of
I was very happy when I saw this collection come out. This was the first compilation on disc. Of course, they've since come out with a 2 disc collection that features songs that were left off like Weis Heim, Difficult to Cure, Spotlight Kid and Death Alley Driver. Oh well. Got this I believe also as a gift in the early 00's.

Rare Earth-Greatest Hits and Rare Classics
I remember getting this in college because one of my classes gave us a questionaire and one of the questions was recent purchases. I think this was 91.

Rascals-Very Best of
The single disc Rhino collection. Usually when I buy a collection of a 60's artist, there is something that inspires me to get it-but I can't remember what it was for this. Or when.

Ratt-Ratt and Roll 8191
Still like them. This was for $4.99 at a used store where the prices were usually higher. I'm guessing this was 90.

Collin Raye-I Think About You
This one has a bullet hole instead of a "slice" in the case which tells me it isn't from that local store. This is a Country guy that isn't shoved down people's throats like Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney. It's in the back of my head where I got it, but I can't remember. Probably in 00.

His next album. Can't remember where or when. These are both Bekki's.

Red Hot Chili Peppers-Californication
I didn't want to like them, but 4 singles later, I was digging them. But in my defense, on this album they sounded more 60's inpsired then punk-funk. I think this was just from Target. Maybe a year after release.

Red Hot Chili Peppers-By The Way
This was $7.99 in the new "used" section at the local place. I was sold on them at this point, so this was probably late 02.

Red Hot Chili Peppers-Greatest Hits
This is of their career, not their earlier "What Hits?!" It didn't cover everything from the previous 2 albums, but it had My Friends which is a fave of mine. Got it for the holidays after it's release.

Remembering Patsy Cline
Got this because Martina sings on a track of course. But they ruined it by having some boy band sing background with her. I think this was a holiday gift the year it came out too.

Leann Rimes-I Need You
Bekki liked the hits on here. I think I gave this to her as a gift for a holiday shortly after it's release.

Paul Revere & The Raiders (Featuring Mark Lindsay)-Legend of Paul Revere
I looked at this disc for YEARS before finally getting it. I think it was a self purchase because even though it's 2 discs, it was only $20. This was maybe 01?

Not no JuliA, Julie. She's a newer Country cutie was a sort of raspy voice. I loved the 2 singles off this debut. Not sure of where I got it, but it was probably a year after release.

I've always loved their music. I bought this I believe during a sale back in 1995.

The Rascals – Anthology (2 CD’s)
I originally had the Ultimate Rascals collection on disc in the late 80's but thought the sound of the disc was absolutely awful. As soon as I read Rhino was releasing this I was very happy! Bought it brand new in 1992.It sounds great!

The Raspberries – Little Queenie (Live!) (CD single – Homemade CD – R)
A great cover of this Chuck Berry classic.

The Raspberries – Studio Session With The Raspberries (Homemade CD – R)
I downloaded this from the Eric Carmen website about two months ago. This was an album sent to radio stations in 1974 to help promote the Starting Over album. It contains interviews with all the guys plus various tunes. It 's really cool and a real time capsule.

I bought this in Bellingham, Washington at the Bellis Fair mall back in 1991.

I bought this at the Fred Meyer chain store on the way back from a trip to Reno with my Dad and my Aunt and Uncle in 1996. We stopped for lunch in Tacoma, Washington. After eating we decided to do some last minute shopping and that's when I spotted this gem. I was VERY happy to find it.

Eddie Rabbitt: All Time Greatest Hits--This is an ok cd, but there's only 10 songs on it. I always liked Eddie, so I should get something more complete someday.

Gilda Radner: Live From New York--Had this on vinyl, and had to have the cd. Some great stuff on here, especially "Let's Talk Dirty to the Anaimals".

Bonnie Raitt: The Bonnie Raitt Collection, The Glow, Longing In Their Hearts, Luck of the Draw, Nick of Time (One of my favorite CDs, ever), Road Tested (2 cd set), and Souls Alike--Most of these were bought used, except "Nick", "Tested"--bought at Best Buy for 12 bucks, and "Souls", which Mike bought me for Christmas last year.

Rare Earth: The Very Best Of--Actually a pretty good collection.

Collin Raye: Direct Hits, Extremes, and In This Life--a favorite country guy of mine. Always liked his voice.

Real McCoy: Another Night--a garage sale purchase a long time ago.

Leon Redbone: Sugar--I'm not a huge fan of his, but I can take him in small doses.

Rent: The Best of Rent-Highlights from the Cast Album--Bought it at the Goodwill. Never saw the play, but I always liked the music from it. I've recently seen the movie. Pretty good.

REO Speedwagon: The Hits--Thought I had more from them. Oh well. This is a pretty good cd.

Reservoir Dogs Soundtrack: Love the movie, love the cd.

Seeing as how I've never had the chance to see the stage version of this musical, I absolutely loved the movie. People who have seen the play hate it. Whatever. I think it's great, and I absolutely love listening to Idina Menzel sing.

I Need You was the first one I bought. Then I found Blue (her first album) pretty cheap so I picked that up. Twisted Angel is a pop album. This Woman (her most recent) is really good - I had high hopes, but mediocre expectations for it and I was pleasantly surprised.

Men & Mascara - her most recent; just came out in June.
I LOVE these albums!! Even though I like a lot of country music, I usually prefer albums that have more positive/happy songs. Julie's albums lean heavily on the heartache & cheatin' songs and are VERY country. But she does them so well, I can't get enough - I became addicted to her debut album and the same has been true of Men & Mascara. Excellent album - I can't stop listening!

The Rasmus- Dead Letters
I absolutely LOVE this band. They're a Rock/Alternative/Gothic band from Finland. Normally I wouldn't like this kinda of music at all, but theirs is very melodic. It's almost as if they're classically trained, or something. Side note... I purchased this CD randomly, as I'm known to do from time to time, back in 2004. I'd only ever read their name somewhere. And when I saw the CD in the store, I decided to go for it. It was only like $8, so that was a deciding factor. SO glad I risked it.

The Rasmus - Hide From The Sun
This is their most recent CD. I bought it for my birthday at the end of October, it arrived a couple weeks into November, and I've been listening to it constantly ever since. Highly recommend this band. They're constantly compared to HIM, but as far as I'm concerned, the comparison stops at both bands being from Finland and that they just happen to play the same kind of music. Kinda irritating since The Rasmus have been around much longer than HIM.

Moving on, lol.

Not too impressed with it. Bought it because I liked the single that was out at the time, and I got it for like $7.

Rooster - Rooster
This is a band from over in Europe. I forget which country, but they're pretty good. I haven't listened to this in a while. Maybe I should.
