I posted a few months ago about Bette Midler's new concert tour. Well, tickets are going on sale for different dates starting this weekend, and get this: The closest one to where I live is in Columbus, OH and my parents WON'T LET ME GO. It's three hours away, and they don't want me to drive that far. I am so mad! Ooo, and you know what? Barry Manilow will be accompanying Bette at the Columbus concert. GRRR...

Okay, just found out that the Columbus, OH papers misread the press release and Barry won't be with Bette in Columbus. That makes my missed opportunity just a tad easier to deal with now.

That woulda been cool to see her with Barry, but I'm glad you won't be missing him! Hey, tell em you're an adult and you want to go! (Look at me starting domestic problems!  ) I know how you feel, look I had to drive to Indiana to meet Martina, Wisconsin to see her in concert this summer, and she isn't coming for the Christmas tour!  |
