Going to see Martina tonight-will be televised!!

And I'm going for free!

I shoulda announced this awhile back, they are filming the performance for an upcoming Soundstage special! (I'll post the date later.)

It's at this small venue I've never even HEARD of much less been to!

Anyway, on her website, someone asked who was going and I mentioned that although it was close, I couldn't afford. Well, one of the ladies on there PM'd me and said would I be able to go if I had a ticket. Well sure, but it's just a matter of money. She said she didn't want any money, she had an extra ticket and wanted someone to enjoy it!

And the thing is, this is the same lady who gave me a brand new CD when I broke mine! I eventually sent her a video tape of some stuff she was looking for, but still it was quite a gesture. And this time I told her I have no way to repay her, and she said to just "pass it on" (meaning do something nice for another fan). I have no problem doing that!

Anyway, VERY excited to see Martina again and am interested in seeing what new old songs she does!

I'll give a report tomorrow!!

Wow, that is VERY cool! That was nice of that woman to do that for you!

BTW, I have also done one of Martina's songs ("That's Me") at a karaoke place. I've heard some other people do her songs in karaoke places, too. Some of those karaoke "menus" have a lot of her songs on them--I will have to learn more of 'em.
