Classic album. I actually have this on used vinyl. But I haven't really listened beyond the hits and FM cuts. I've heard it's pretty much good through and through though!
Cold As Ice and Feels are two of my very fave of theirs. Didn't know Long, Long Way until I got Records on cassette, but that's a good one too!
Finally heard Starrider years later on the local Rock station.
And then a girl I used to work with her introduced me to Headknocker. Decent tune.
Good album!

A fantastic album - I also have it on vinyl - I remember hearing Feels Like The First Time and Cold as Ice on the radio back in the day , we also had the 45 of " Cold " in the house.
Long, Long Way From Home just kicks ass. Along with those already listed other faves include:Starrider , Headknocker , At War With The World(love the backing vocals on this) and Fool For You Anyway . This is among the finest debuts of all time.

It's not quite as good as 4, but it's pretty close. There are some excellent album tracks, especially 'The Damage is Done' and 'Woman Oh Woman'. 'Starrider' reminds me a little of ELO. 'Feels Like the First Time' and 'Cold As Ice' are two of my favorites also! I remember Records was one of the first cassettes I bought, back in 1983!

'Long Long Way From Home' is one of their best rockers - that guitar is awesome! I first had this song on a K-tel compilation album called Music Magic. Love it!

All around great album. Haven't listened to it for a long time. Just reading the song titles again makes me want to dig it out and slap it on the turntable. Good stuff!

Hi Dawn - Foreigner was one of the few rock bands who forged ahead through the dark days of disco in the late '70s. This was a great album. I have on cassette somewhere. Three top 40s and some really good album cuts. good choice. Favorites: Feels Like the First Time, Cold as Ice, Fool for you Anyway, Woman oh Woman, Long Long Way from Home.

It's true that their music did stand out on the radio back then. 'Fool for You Anyway' is another excellent album cut.
