One of the few non-compilation or live albums we had in our house growing up. Also contains the original version of We're All Alone, which Rita Coolidge did even better. Good album!

I LOVED this album. Both my brothers had copies ( on 8 track and vinyl)back in the day it's suprising the 8-track lasted as long as it did after the number of times I played it! A buddy's sister also had the album.
I bought my vinyl copy quite a while back at a swap meet for a dollar. I'm listening to it right now!. I'd like to mention the fine drumming by the late Jeff Porcaro - RIP.
Faves: Lido Shuffle (Woo Hoo!) , Jump Street , What Can I Say , We're All Alone and Georgia.

Pretty good record here;I've never been a real big fan of them. I agree, this is a good one. I've always liked Boz's music, although this is the only album I have of his other than his greatest hits. Great songs!

I completely agree about 'Lowdown' and 'Lido Shuffle' - both of those are great, and always take me right back to 1976-77! Like you, I prefer Rita's version of 'We're All Alone', although Boz's is pretty good too.

It sounds like this was a very popular album in your family! Those 8-tracks did have a way of wearing out pretty soon, although it was great to be able to put one in the player and listen to it over and over! 'What Can I Say' is one of my favorite album tracks.

Hi Dawn - JPKansas can really pick them. This is one great album.
I have this on cassette and it's getting a little hard to hear anymore. I'll have to upgrade someday. Just about ever song on this album rocks. What a great job. This album would have to be one of the top albums of the 70s. Favorites: What Can I Say, Jump Street, Harbor Lights, Lowdown, It's Over, Love Me Tomorrow, Lido Shuffle, We're All Alone.
BTW - If you can find a copy of the Last Days of the Filmore West album (3 albums or 2 CDs), check out the last two songs. They're two final night jams featuring Boz Scaggs, Elvin Bishop, & Taj Mahal and they just rock the house.

Great choice, Dawn. Easily one of the top 10 albums of the 70's. Every track is solid. I've always been partial to Georgia and It's Over.

Both 'Georgia' and 'It's Over' are excellent. It's surprising that 'It's Over' only reached #38 on the pop chart - it had all the makings of a great hit single.

Yay! Finally answering to this! Actually I had, but I guess I was pressed for time. ```brain freeze``` Simply put, one of the 70's best albums, PERIOD. E-V-E-R-Y song is SOOOOOO great! In order, my faves: Lido shuffle Lowdown What can I say It's over Georgia We're all alone Jump street Harbor lights Love me tomorrow What do you want the girl to do Oh, boy, every song should be at LEAST in my top 10,000 next time! Should land at least in my top 50 albums. I like all 10 more than most of the other Boz albums, and they're still all super!

I remember I bought this album primarily for the singles, but I was really impressed with the album tracks also! My ranking of the songs is almost identical to yours, except that I'd rank 'Lowdown' first and 'Lido Shuffle' second. Great songs!
