My brother had this on cassette and a buddy of mine had the LP . This is one album that my classic rock station plays songs from the least ,so I'm really not as burnt out on it like the other albums. I remember hearing All My Love and Fool in The Rain quite a bit in the early 80's.
Faves - Hot Dog , In The Evening - I actually like this alot! , I'm Gonna Crawl and Fool in The Rain.

Great Album. Got it on vinyl, complete with paper bag cover. Mostly album tracks, that would explain why it's not so overplayed on the classic rock stations. Great list of songs, all good ones. Favorites: All of My Love, Fool in the Rain, Hot Dog, In the Evening.

Like you, I don’t hear the songs from this album much on the classic rock stations where I live, although they often play cuts from the earlier ones. ‘All My Love’ is my favorite Led Zeppelin song, and I also really like ‘Fool in the Rain’. ‘In the Evening’ has a great sound, too.

I remember I was surprised to find that ‘All My Love’ wasn’t a top 40 song, because I remember hearing it quite a lot on the contemporary hit radio stations back in the day.

Most "true" Zeppelin fans will say this album is crap, but that's just wrong. I love this album.
Ok, maybe it doesn't rock as much as their earlier stuff, but it is still an excellent piece of work.
It was one of the first 5 CD's I got as a Christmas gift the year I got my CD player.
Moreso John Paul Jones' baby than Jimmy Page. At the time I was first getting into this album, I was nuts about All My Love and Fool in the Rain. Still both great songs.
My very fave on the album is Carouselambra. Also love South Bound Suarez.

I've never understood why this album has been criticized so much. It's a little different in style than their previous albums, but it's really well done, and contains some wonderful songs.

I'll go on record and say I don't HATE "In Through The Out Door", but it's my least favorite Zep album (I even like Robert Plant's first four solo albums, and the two Firm albums better!)
The best track is easily "Carouselambra", even though it just seems to plod along and never seem to really go anywhere. I also think "Fool In The Rain" was a great radio hit with a cool twist of irony at the end. "In The Evening" is a decent enough opener. But basically there's nothing here that really "blows my doors off".
The rest of the album is filler to me. "All My Love" bores me, and "I'm Gonna Crawl" is AWFUL. They should've used "Wearing & Tearing" instead.
