I've mentioned before that a buddy of mine and I were HUGE fan's of Alan's in High School . He had this as well as 2 or 3 other albums on cassette.
I have five of his CD's a couple of 45's and one album. I noticed very quickly that he always included at least one instrumental track per album. Remember hearing Prime Time and Don't Answer Me many times on the radio.
Since The Last Goodbye is an amazing track sung so well by Chris Rainbow - it never fails to bring a tear to the eye. At times tough for me to listen to but it's a brilliant tune.
Other Faves - Dancing on a Highwire (nice vocal by former Zombie Colin Blunstone) , You Don't Believe - always loved this , Don't Answer Me - sounds very much like a Phil Spector production , Pipeline - nice sax , Ammonia Avenue and Prime Time.

Only tune I know is Don't Answer Me. Didn't like it too much. They got too lightweight at this point.
I remember the video was clips from a comic book.

Like you, I remember hearing 'Prime Time' and 'Don't Answer Me' often on the radio back then, and 'You Don't Believe' also got some airplay on an AOR station out of Charlottesville that I used to listen to a lot. I agree, the lyrics to 'Since the Last Goodbye' are very moving. It's a beautiful song, but so very sad.
