I mean getting any of the CD's, not any......NEVER MIND! I have seen Greatest Hits advertised from the following artists: Stone Temple Pilots Red Hot Chili Peppers Leann Rhimes Sheryl Crow Motley Crue (box set) Pearl Jam (not a greatest hits, but a collection or B sides and rarities) STP's looks excellent, including every single track I have ever heard get radio play. Now I can upgrade (have the first two on tape) and get rid of Tiny Music.....on CD. They did leave off their cover of Zep's Dancing Days, but I can live without it. The Chili Peppers is ALMOST complete, but they left off Around the World which was a popular track off Californication. It also leaves off Can't Stop off their last one which I know get radio play. Even though I have the last two discs, I'll probably want this for My Friends, which I only have on tape. Bekki is thinking she wants the Leann Rimes disc. She has her last one, but only the two singles were really good, and they are on this collection. Sheryl Crow we both want. It includes all the biggies, but like the STP one, leaves out a cover-Sweet Child O' Mine (no big loss here either). I'm not a fan of Crue to get the box anyway, but it looks weird. Several versions of the same song throughout the album, and it stops before the Dr. Feelgood disc. Odd. The Pearl Jam thing pisses me off. I'm not interested in it anyway, but these guys complain about the extra charges from Ticket Master ripping off their fans, and then they put out like 30 live albums, and NOW a B side collection, after most fans bought em up on the CD singles! Any other collections you know about?

I am actually considering getting the Motley Crue set. BTW it's a Volume 1 set implying that there will be others with post Dr. Feelgood stuff. The early stuff is my favorite anyway and I'm kind of interested in hearing the different remixes of beloved tunes like "Live Wire" and "Too Young To Fall In Love".

Would be interested in the Stone Temple Pilots, Chili Peppers, & Sheryl Crowe. The others, probably not.

I won't be getting any of these right away, but I would like the Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes discs. I don't have any of their albums, so that would be good.

LOL I'm still waiting for Volume 2 of Van Halen's best of - I suppose I'll be waiting a while . Isn't their a Van Halen Box? I was browsing around CD Universe and noticed there was a Essential collection of Simon and Garfunkel that looks pretty complete. Since I don't have any S and G on disc I thought it would be a good purchase. I'm also intrested in a James Taylor collection I'd be very interested in the Sheryl Crow disc if I didn't have everything already.

A Volume II would be mostly album cuts since the big hit singles made the first disc. (Although there are some biggies lacking) Even though everyone knows I'm not a huge S&G fan, my in-laws have a good 1 disc collection I might get for My Little Town. Love that tune. Well that Essential JT album came out earlier this year, 2 disc collection. I'm glad I waited for this Sheryl collection. She does a cover of First Cut is the Deepest. I think it's better than Rod's but not as good as Cat's.

I have their older greatest hits on vinyl, but it's missing a lot of good cuts like 'At the Zoo', 'Fakin' It', and my favorite from them, 'My Little Town'.

Already have the Sheryl Crow CD!
Only hit of ANY importance missing is Tuesday Night Music Club's 4th and final release--"Can't Cry Hard Enough", but no biggie. This was otherwise a dream come true! Now when Barry Scott can release Lost 45's Volume 3...
