This was a very popular album in our household during the Christmas season back in the mid 70's and is still a huge favorite of mine. I remember my dad bringing the album home when I was a kid. Some time in the 80's my mom bought the cassette and I bought the CD around '89 /'90 when the family went to Bellingham Washington to shop It always put's me in such a great mood when I listen to it.
I've always loved the sound of the album and the arrangements of the songs are superb allowing John's voice and guitar to shine through .
There are a nice mix of traditional and contemporary songs with two written by Denver. I especially love Aspenglow and A Baby Just Like You which John also included on the TV special he did with the Muppets in 1979 - A Christmas Together remember that ?
