Beyoncé
Dangerously In Love
2003
1. Crazy In Love featuring Jay-Z
Infectious hip-hop beat, cool vocals, catchy lyrics. There's not a thing about this song NOT to like...well, except maybe that rap.
2. Naughty Girl
This is the latest single. I don't see the need for the sampling of Love To Love Ya Baby, but it's okay. The first time I heard this on the radio, I was already singing along. It's catchy.
3. Baby Boy featuring Sean Paul
I can't stand Sean Paul, but I do love this song. I actually even like the video! Hey, the girl can dance.
4. Hip Hop Star featuring Big Boi and Sleepy Brown
Love the bass. This one is a guilty pleasure. I can't help but like it, damn it!
5. Be With You
Here's a hip-hop jam for you. Gorgeous vocals, sexy lyrics. Very good.
6. Me, Myself And I
A favorite of mine. Awesome rhythm and I love the lyrics about a cheating man. Cool song.
7. Yes
Also quite fond of this track.
8. Signs featuring Missy Elliott
This is about the different astrological signs. The lyrics are a little, well, pointless.
9. Speechless
Another jam, but not quite as good as track five. This one drags a little.
10. That's How You Like It featuring Jay-Z
That's enough of the songs with the boyfriend. Moving on, please.
11. The Closer I Get To You duet with Luther Vandross
This track is just mediocre, but Luther sounds fantastic.
12. Dangerously In Love 2
And Dangerously In Love (1) was a Destiny's Child song. This is basically just that song with Beyoncé-only vocals.
13. Beyoncé Interlude
Spoken word. I don't see the point of this.
14. Gift From Virgo
Extremely slow jam that I don't particularly care for.
15. Daddy
Beautiful piano, but this song is a little weird to me since I've always thought Beyoncé had a daddy complex.
All in all, good hip-hop record with several strong songs.
