Since I havent been working, I've had free time on my hands so I've been ordering stuff through the library system again.
Here's what I got recently:
Iron Maiden (All 1998 remasters) The Number Of The Beast Piece Of Mind Powerslave Somewhere In Time
Metallica: Kill 'Em All
Slade: Get Yer Boots On;The Best Of Slade
Motley Crue: Too Fast For Love
Rush: Fly By Night (Remaster. I now have all the Rush Remasters except the first album)
And, on order, I'm getting:
Judas Priest: Hell Bent For Leather (Remaster)
Motorhead: Best Of
ZZ Top: Tres Hombres (Remastered and Expanded) Fandango! (Remastered and Expanded)
Motley Crue: Dr. Feelgood (Remastered and Expanded)
Def Leppard: Hysteria (2-CD Deluxe edition) Yeah! Rock Of Ages: The Definitive Collection (2 CD)
Kingdom Come: s/t
Iron Maiden: Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son (1998 Remaster) A Matter Of Life & Death

Those Iron Maiden albums were some of Mark's favorites when we were dating. I haven't heard the remasters, though.
I'd be curious about the Slade Best of myself. I don't know much from them apart from Keep Your Hands Off My Power Supply, but I'd like to hear more.
I haven't gotten any CDs from the library in a long time. The San Bernardino library system's selection is not as extensive as I had hoped, at least for the artists I've looked for, but I only live a few miles away from both Los Angeles and Orange counties, so I'm planning to check out their catalogs also.

Hey Pete From what I've heard those ZZ Top discs sound great (without the redone drum tracks) Both Slade and Def Leppard's Yeah! are on my CD want list. Like Dawn, I haven't picked up a CD from the library in ages. The selection has been terrible for a very long time. I remember talking to one of the librarians awhile back and she said that the amount of money they were given to buy new items had been reduced.

From what I've heard those ZZ Top discs sound great (without the redone drum tracks). Now Rhino needs to get off their asses and do the rest of the ZZ Top catalog! We know it's coming, but when?????? I STILL want a remastered version of "Backdoor Love Affair" without those electronic drums!
