[SAT-I need more room!!]

I know there isn't a huge amount of fans of his solo stuff here, but there is plenty of Zep on this one.

He was totally embracing his past, and there is only 3 songs from his then current album, one of which was a cover anyway. He does 3 songs from previous albums (3 different albums). But he does SEVEN Zep tunes!

Robert was a big fan of his fellow artists in the 60's and it shows in what he covers here.

I don't remember the quality of the tape, but I know it wasn't poor, probably just above average.

I'm not too familiar with Robert's solo work except for a few songs, but this sounds like a very interesting collection. I'd be interested in hearing his takes on If I Were a Carpenter and Light My Fire!

Well, he didn't seem to be embracing his solo career by that point. I had given up on him after Manic Nirvana. But here he does one song each from Principle Of Moments, Now & Zen, and Manic Nirvana, and NOTHING from Pictures at Eleven or Shaken 'n Stirred.

But the Zeppelin tunes are cool! I know that up until 1988 he steered clear of that stuff.

I think Season of the Witch is even an odd choice!

I know there are alot of Zep boots around but this is actually the first Zep related tape that I've seen the contents of. Cool! wow! Light My Fire !


Where is the news footage / interview from , is it from Rio as well?
