Just got the new TV guide and the Hall of Fame ceremonies are going to be on VH-1 on this Sunday March 21, at 7PM CST.
It's set for two hours long, and here who is inducting 5 of the 7 acts:
Bruce Springsteen inducting Jackson Browne Jeff Lynne & Tom Petty-George Harrison Alicia Keys & Outkast-Prince Dave Matthews-Traffic Keith Richards-ZZ Top
Nobody listed yet for Seger or the Dells. I know Kid Rock is a big Seger fan, so maybe him. I was kindof expecting Frey or Henley to induct Browne. This is the first time I ever remember 2 artists inducting one act.
I'm more excited about this class than I have been for the past couple years. Mostly for George and Traffic.
Get yer tapes ready!!

I've missed the show the past few years, but definitely want to see it this year, especially for George.

Anyway, great seeing George there. The two artist thing, I guess it's just a Wilbury's thing -- but where is Dylan ?? What's "Symbol" doing on the list. I don't see him in that class.

Unfortunately, there is no "theme" so you get a weird mix of artists. And, perhaps also unfortunately, I think he kinda deserves it, for his early, pre-symbol career.

I just never considered Prince that worthy. His talent just didn't seem that great to me.
