John Fogerty did an "all requests" concert on A&E last night. I didn't get to see the whole thing, but what I saw was great! He hasn't aged a bit!

Hey Laura - I stumbled across the show last night - since it wasn't listed in our TV guide  I caught the repeat airing later on and taped it . He was fantastic! I'd like to get his new CD. His voice is still excellent , he can still rock! |

Saw part of it on the repeat showing very early this morning. Saw him do Who'll Stop the Rain, Lodi, Old Man Down the Road, Proud Mary, & others. He still sounds great.

I caught the last 30 minutes (Starting with Suzy Q) at 3:30 a.m. the other night. I caught the whole thing this morning.  I missed "Travelin' Band", but the rest of the classic songs I taped added up to just a little over half an hour. Btw, I agree with everyone that he still sounds great(!), but as I watched I could NOT get out of my head how he'd completely snubbed his fellow CCR Bandmates at the R & R HOF a few years back. Maybe it's just me, but imo whether he likes it or not, I think he should have shown them at least SOME respect! After all, they were with him at the start of his career. Oh well, that's ancient news--and I did enjoy the concert.... |
